I've never read this, but it looks interesting: Probably the only Star Trek comic I own, but that reminded me of a great cross over from 1996. Spock and Logan really make it great.

I really enjoyed the Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation² crossover.

One of my favorite Crossovers of which DC COMICS and MARVEL did in the late 90's of which I believe it started on April 1996. The seven preliminary battles were: Aquaman (DC) vs. Namor (Marvel) Elektra (Marvel) vs. Catwoman (DC) Flash (DC) vs. Quicksilver (Marvel) Robin (DC) vs. Jubilee (Marvel) Silver Surfer (Marvel) vs. Green Lantern (DC) Thor (Marvel) vs. Captain Marvel (DC) Batman (DC) vs. Captain America (Marvel) There were four battles in which the outcomes were determined by the votes of fans: Spider-Man (Marvel) vs. Superboy (DC) Wolverine (Marvel) vs. Lobo (DC) Storm (Marvel) vs. Wonder Woman (DC) Superman (DC) vs. Hulk (Marvel) I voted for Spider-Man, Wolverine, Wonder Woman, and Superman.

What do the cognoscenti hereabouts consider to be the best crossover(s) authored by longtime continuity buff Roy Thomas? Oh, well, guess I'll just go with THOR/ETERNALS-- which to my mind is the last really boss sequence RT worked on. NUMBER 35.

I'd never given the matter thought before, but-- has Marvel ever condescended to cross over any of their characters with companies other than DC?
I'd leave out those instances in which Marvel crossed his own characters with those it had temporarily purchased rights to publish, as with Spidey meeting Red Sonja and Cap meeting Conan.
