My all time favorite list would probably include Wendy Pini.
My current list would definitely include Fiona Staples

So far this is a lot more diverse and interesting list than the "main" writers and artists list. A lot more independent creators, more Manga, webcomics, etc.
And if I had voted a lot of my top ten would have made the lists - Emily Carrol and Kate Beaton for sure, with Lynda Barry at #1 on the writer list. There wouldn't have been much crossover at all with the other top 50 lists.
