Jack Norris is the one I really miss. He was practically the star of Gerber's Defenders.
Also, the supporting cast of Master of Kung Fu who were practically the stars of that title as well.

What's up with Wolverine these days? Haven't seen him. Same with Spider-Man.
Marvel has paid scant attention to these two in the last few years...

I had written a similar joke post yesterday about Wolverine, but thought it was too cheesy and deleted it. You had the guts to do it, and it earned you a smiley from Jez.

Those early issues of The Defenders are so much fun! I wish I had read it a little more regularly when I was 11 or 12. And Jack, yeah, he was pretty awesome.
I read Hulk #126 for the first time today. I think it's either the first or second appearance of Jack and Barbara. And it tells the story of why he felt so bad about what happened to Barbara. Yeah, I can see why he felt he had to make amends. And I can see why Val wasn't too keen.

He went up against Hawkeye in Solo Avengers, but that was back in the 90s. (Dammit! Where did the last 2 decades go?)

What's Wyatt Wingfoot been doing since the cancellation of whichever She-Hulk title he used to appear in? He was in Fraction and Allred's FF, where he went on a date with She-Hulk, and despite the Bentlet and the Moloid kids best intentions to sabotage the date, it went pretty well. Oh, and he was also called in to identify Future Johnny Storm.

Wheres Agatha Harkness been parking her broom lately?
I always had a soft spot for old Giant-Man villians. Has anyone seen Egg Head or The Human Top recently?

I know that on the old boards I was always asking, "whatever happened to so and so" in current comics, since I'm not reading many current titles. So here's a thread devoted to the topic. To start off-- is it still true that no one ever tried to launch any "Contest of Champions" characters in a feature, aside from (faith and begorra) Shamrock? Defensor and Blitzkrieg were both killed off by Mark Gruenwald at the end of his run on Captain America. It's a little odd, in that the storyline was essentially a reprise of the Scourge of the Underworld story, only flipped, with a serial killer murdering superheroes. Gru even invoked Scourge during the story. All this despite the fact that Gru had previously said that he regretted killing off so many supervillains in the Scourge storyline, both because the characters may have had potential he wasn't seeing and also he felt he had disrespected some of the creators who came up with those characters. So I'm not sure why he decided to do it again anyway. Yeah, but a German superhero named Blitzkrieg and a South American superhero dressed as a Conquistador? I think there was little lost there.

I don't know about C'hip, but the last time I can remember seeing G'Nort was in those I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League minis that Giffen, DeMatteis, and Maguire did about a decade ago.

What the hell is a Larfleeze? It sounds like it needs to be treated with antibiotics.

Larfreeze, as near as I could tell, was Giffen's pet Lantern. No idea how he managed to get a solo book.
I think Agatha Harkness was mentioned in the latest Young Avengers Run (or maybe Avengers Academy)... I don't remember the details though.
I was happy to see Century a couple years back, when Wonder Man decided to form a team to attack the Avengers(Just before he became a pacifist).. dumb story, but it was nice to see he still exists.
