The Brave and The Bold # 109 Artist- Jim Aparo Writer- Bob Haney DC 1973I always consider this book special because it was the first time that one of Kirbys creations was drawn by someone other than the king. Really?

Really? Kirby went to DC in 1971 and created the Fourth World characters and others like Demon and Kamandi which pretty much were only handled by him. This issue was the first time one of those characters was drawn by someone else.

I thought you were saying that this was the first time any of Kirby's character's anywhere had been drawn by someone else.

C.H.I.X. That Time Forgot #1 ART- Rockets Mcboomboom section- Matt Haley/Tom Simmons- Dead Eye DD section - Terry Dodson/Rachel Dodson Image 1998In 1998 Image had a 2 issue series called C.H.I.X. which was a parody, of sorts, of the BAD Girl craze that swept the 90's. It was a Jam piece that had different artists and writers using their own creations to fill the theme. Of course, these "creations " were just thinly veiled versions of the Female characters that were running around during those years. Here are a few pages from the second issue.
