Jeff Purves is underrated. He became the artist on the Hulk shortly after I started collecting The Incredible Hulk in 87 I believe. In retrospect, I think I liked his Hulk because of the vague resemblance to Moe Howard. Whatever happened to him? From what I gather from this page he works mostly in animation and did layouts for some of the Hellboy animated stuff. -M

His layouts were always great, but they looked bast with Terry Austin or Marie Severin finishing the line work.
