Anybody reading Lemire's Green Arrow? I like what Lemire does and have heard good things about GA but am reluctant to add another title to my pull until something a few more titles end.

Is there anything on the horizon for Danger Girl? I picked up these sets and quite enjoyed them and bought the Image/Cliff Hanger series too. Jez, I'm sure IDW has more Danger Girl stuff down the line. I'm enjoying the new series. Royle's artwork is keen and from the school of Campbell. I'd like to see it all traded up in a nice HC or something. Looks like it's Danger Girl May Day

I'm in. Curious, have you picked up any of Campbell's artbooks? They're very nice.

Anyone else reading Warren Ellis' Moon Knight? Issue #4 has been the best yet. The Declan Shalvey art is excellent and Jordie Bellaire's colors really compliment the artwork. I think it's currently the best new 52 title.

I just read that Nick Fury was once again killed in a Marvel event comic. Last month it was Leiko Wu who was announced to buy it in the new Master of Kung Fu series, making sure that *I* wouldn't buy it. Oh, and of course the Watcher was murdered recently.
Someone on the Rita's Facebook page came up with the expression "smorgasborg of death", which I find as accurate as the reality it describes is depressing.
Why is it the big two keep driving in the same ruts year after year after year? It's enough to make old comic book readers prefer stuff published decades ago.
Oh, wait...

Also reading Moon Knight and liking it a lot. Shame that the run will be pretty short. I loved the first 9 pages of issue 2. For those who haven't read it: the first 9 pages have 9 panels with different people on each panel. Each page one of them gets murdered and that panel goes white. Nice example of things that can only be done in comics. I just read that Nick Fury was once again killed in a Marvel event comic. Are you sure it wasn't a LMD?

I was reading an interview with Valiant. According to them, they're going to keep the Valiant line to 9 comics for the near future. I'm guessing X-O, Harbinger and A&A will be mainstays and then the other books will rotate around that. They said they want people to be able to be able to afford to follow the entire universe if they wanted to. I think that's an interesting strategy on their part. I'm not sure how sustainable that is financially though.

I've seen fans dropping entire lines when there were just too many books for them to follow instead of dropping just some of the titles.

Things I love about the title other than the writing and the art: Done in one stories. Careful use of continuity to give the series a sense of history without forcing out newer readers.

My favorite clueless reaction to the new Moon Knight series from someone used to newer comic story-telling: I keep thinking something important might happen in the series but it can't because stories are only 1 issue long, I wish he would do longer stories so something could happen and it would be worth reading.
OY was all I could say as I rolled my eyes and walked away....

Gotta love fans who think stories only exist to serve the continuity, rather than the other way around.
