That Usagi Yojimbo Saga tpb absolutely. I have the money for the hardcover but still not sure I want to spend that much or not. I'd like to have it though.
Huh, maybe I should have preordered. Not seeing the hardcover anywhere now. That may make the decision a little easier.

I really should probably give Astro City another shot. Busiek really has been crafting a few tales for the ages with the new run. It deserves much better sales than it gets. Hoping it does well in trades.

With Batman '66 going strong and the announcement of a Wonder Woman '77 digital ongoing all we need is a Superman '78 comic and the trinity will be complete. Now that I think of it I would definitely read an Incredible Hulk comic based on the TV show if Marvel released one.

I'd rather a Superman series that hearkens back to the George Reeves Adventures of Superman or even more so the Fleisher cartoons than one that hearkens to the Donner films. -M

I still haven't watched any of George Reeves Superman but I love the Fleischer Studios Superman cartoons. They hold up incredibly well.

Reruns of the Reeves Adventures of Superman show in syndication on Sunday mornings before mass in the early-mid 70s was my first extended exposure to Superman stories outside of Superfriends cartoons. I first saw the Fleischer cartoons around the time of the 50th anniversary of Superman in '88. Those cartoons are still my favorite version of Superman, but the Reeves show is a close second.

Hoping it does well in trades. You should, but start at the older ones.. the current series has been a bit more hit or miss... a couple of the stories have been great, but a couple have been kinda meh. I thought about the HC Usagi, but ultimately I decided that it was too much money, especially over 10-12 (or however many it'll take to go through the whole series) volumes. I'm psyched to get them, though, since I read them from the library before.

Only Storm this week, which is good because I still have some trades left from last week and the European market has been moving (new Jeremiah, new spin-off of Don Lawrence's Storm, new Texas Cowboys).

Yeah, I'd want to go back and read the old stuff first. I read a little bit years ago (I think it involed The Confessor), and while I remember nothing more than a general dislike, I disliked a lot of stuff then that I like/love now.

I've been re-reading DeConnick's first Captain Marvel series, and this might be my favorite book of the last five-ten years.

I got really excited and thought Don Lawrence is being brought to the US, but then if I'm remembering correctly you're outside of the US.
