I always loved the David Mazzucchelli artwork in the Year One story arc from Batman issues #404-#407. The Richmond Lewis colors really complement the artwork. This scene is something they've kept in the new 52. It seems to be pretty constant in retellings of Batman's origin. I am wondering if it comes from the Bill Finger origin?

I love the costumers for the Batman show... good use to either recycling or just churning out the purple spandex. From these two molls, comes the Yvonne Craig Batgirl suit

Well. the window was open in Bill Finger's version and Bruce wasn't bleeding to death.

Today's Batman comics need more hotties. Yeah, they've appeared in Batman '66, but I'm talking New52
Like Olga, Queen of the Cossacks
Marsha, Queen of Diamonds
and Siren

The blog "Comic Should Be Good" is conducting a "Favorite Batman Stories Poll" as part of it's 75th Anniversary celebration for the publication of Detective Comics #27 (which features Batman's first appearance, I hope we all know).
Anyone interested in voting can click here and just follow the directions and cast a vote for your Top Ten Batman stories!
Have fun!
Warning! It can be a little traumatic to just narrow it down to ten. I just couldn't fit "The Zebra Batman" or "The Joker's Journal"!

Best Batman one-shots anyone? This one comes to mind. And it was a bitch for a big reason too. Why a bitch? Because I first came across it when I was about 8 or so, and it got loaned out to friends and eventually lost. So I thought about replacing it years later...and had no idea how to find these DC $1 books since they weren't called DC Special Series on the cover. So it took quite some time to realise that...as well as get some others that I never knew about (#5, Superman and #16 Jonah Hex).
