Bump I am voting, a bit early but my mind is made. Slam Bradley for something awesome that I have not seen before. I'd ask to refrain from voting until the appropriate time, as there is still time for someone to post an entry (either a very late regular or someone new to the site/party altogether. -M

Tough call, a few people played the Kubert card, but I am going with benday-dot.

So Brian Gravity's pick is still Phase 1 ?
My vote goes to MDG.
Love that Raw cover.
Have I missed it or has Raw never been collected ?

benday-dot. That cover would have been my first choice but benday-dot got in first.

benday-dot. I'd forgotten how fascinated i was by that cover. I missed Smith's original run on Conan, and discovered it only in reprints like this. I think I studied his work on this back cover for hours and hours.

I'm voting for Ish Kabibble, since he beat me to it. Have I missed it or has Raw never been collected ? One of the big book publishers did a "best of" of the first three issues way back in the 80s. The the last 3 issues came out as books--so it went from tabloid size to something smaller than a usual comic trade, which, to me, killed some of the appeal (that and the increase in price). It's probably ripe for a collected edition, but my guess would be that getting the rights together would be quite a job (many independent creators, foriegn reprints, etc.)
