I assume he just went to his, his brothers' & his dad's default fantasy sex partner.
And with that, I suspect I won't be having lunch today. Or supper.

I personally think they should change the $20 bill instead of the $10.
And my top candidates:
1) Dorothy Parker 2) Emma Goldman 3) Sojourner Truth 4) Anne Hutchinson 5) Phantom Lady

Red Emma of course occurred to me as well, but if Eleanor is too far to the left ... Oy.
She was also foreign-born, though whether that would make a difference I have no idea. Probably not. I guess Hamilton was as well.

I skipped it... I've decided I'm going to wait until they narrow the field down a bit. As far as the $10 bill goes, I think I'm the only one who thinks Alexander Hamilton deserves to stay put! How about instead we get with the times and a) get rid of pennies and b) create a $1 and $2 coin that people actually use. We have a $1 coin, nobody uses it.

We have then here and there, yes, but stores don't use them, thus people think they're weird and don't use them either. I suspect just a small bit of marketing would gain them some acceptance.

I have never seen the need for a dollar coin, or really coins in general these days. I hardly ever use any thing other than my debit card and the times I do need cash I like it to be easy to handle which means bills are much easier than coins.

Eleanor Roosevelt would seem to be a natural, if not for the fact that she was so far to the left (she made FDR look like a Bircher, pretty much, not that the Birch Society existed during his lifetime) that I'm sure the very idea would make Republicans' heads spin. That'd just be a bonus...

We have a $1 coin, nobody uses it. Why not (asks the Canadian)? I don't because it's heavy and awkward having a bunch of change in my pants and it doesn't fit in my wallet. My change just piles up in my cup holder until I exchange it for dollars, or I give it to hobos sometimes. I don't really use any denomination of change. It's just the junk I get back when I'm not using a debit or credit card for whatever reason. I don't need more valuable denominations of throw away money to tempt someone to put a brick through my car window.

I don't like the carry change either, actually... I give it to my kids. But if it was worth keeping, it'd be different. It seems to work really well for Canada.
I'd be all for no printing the $1 bills anymore.. just let the ones we have peter out... that'd totally work.

Yep, the loonie works fine and I wouldn't go back to the one dollar bill. Even getting rid of pennies turned out to be a blessing. I was against both measures initially but I was wrong.

Why get rid of a dollar bill for a dollar coin though? What are the benefits of coins? I get that it would be cheaper in the long run as coins can stay in circulation much longer than bills but personally convenience of use trumps that.

Honestly, I don't find dollar bills very convient at all.. What can you buy with $1? It makes far more sense to me for it to be loose change .
