after avoiding the scale for a week, I weighed in this morning, and yeah, eating bad for a week in Atlanta was . . .detrimental.
still under 180, as I weighed in this morning at 177.
but that's up 3 lbs from what I weighed just before leaving for Dragon*con (174).
Considering that it's been a week since I got back, and I started the exercise back up, I have to assume I gained ~3.8 lbs in Atlanta.
but at least trending back down towards the 175 that I've been trying to maintain.

I always gain 5 pounds when I vacation. The lack of walking combined , of course, with stuffing my face does it. Next week I go on my final week off for the year. This morning I was 199 and I'm trying to get down under the 195 mark before Saturday.

I'm at 257 ... lost a pound in 10 days. Water Polo Matches and Practices are my exercises and I do get a little bit hungry after those matches. Today was a double-match day and we are still undefeated ... 8-0. Scored 1 goal and assisted on two others in the first match and scored 2 goals and assisted on 2 goals in the 2nd match. Getting used to the Hole Set position.

197.4 this morning. I go on vacation starting tomorrow. I'm going to do my best to maintain my eating plan and my goal is to return to work at still under 200.

Just back from holiday/vacation. Unlike last year, I haven't lost anything, which leaves me in a bit of a dilemma - I really want/need to lose a few more pounds, but am starting a serous lifting programme tomorrow which means I need to eat more. Decision, decisions - do I keep the calorie limit for a couple more weeks and compromise the lifting, or forget the last loss for 6+ months and then try to cut again?

Post holiday flight bloating, I find I'm down to 162.4, which equals my lowest weight. Happy with that, think I'm going to keep in deficit for a few more days to see if I can go a bit lower.

Ultimately, I want to be a muscular 175. I'm dieting down and lifting weights at the same time so it might take a while. I'm looking to reach goal around April.

Trying not to be disappointed. . I got back from my walk (woke up early to go) and weighed myself, and I'm 178#. so actually up a pound since Tues I guess I messed up my Metabolism when i went off plan for a week, because even tho I'm back on my every other day exercise plan, and trying to eat healthy, I still gained a pound. still below 180#, so I'm happy.. but disappointed a little.

It appears I just had to talk about it...
Was supposed to start AllPro weights routine yesterday, but postponed due to dicey innards. This morning, I'm down to 160.2, which is a new low by over 2 pounds and just a hairs-breadth short of 60 pounds down - now, partially that's a false reading due to yesterday's intestinal distress, but hopefully won't bounce back too far from there.
Also back on the bike yesterday

Fluctuations of a pound or two are normal (though often the cause of celebration or misery!) - as long as the trend is in the right direction, don't sweat the individual measurements

Day started off crappy (woke up early for a meeting that got rescheduled for tomorrow instead. . and the reschedule happened after midnight. . sheesh).
But this made my day: While out doing my walk (every other day!), a neighbor a few streets over, whom I think i've met maybe once, at a block party years ago, said to me:
"wow, you've really slimmed down! I'm proud of you"
so yeah. . that put me in a much better mood.

My darling Husband (who KNEW I was disappointed I had gained instead of losing) declared that he really wanted Mighty Fine hamburgers for lunch. their entire menu: 1/4 lb burger 1/2 lb burger onion rings waffle fries Soda (bottled or fountain) Milkshakes (various varieties). so I got a 1/2 lb burger without cheese, we shared onion rings, and I drank water. but love that passive/aggressive crap. . . .

It's so difficult to get your significant other to join you when you're trying to lose weight. It's a lonely road.
