New rumors emerging about the character Rachel McAdams will play... articlemost speculated she would be Clea or Linda Carter, Night Nurse (since she appeared in The Oath mini), but rumors have it it is Night Nurse, just not Linda Carter, but Christine Palmer, Night Nurse...the protagonist of issue #4 of the series. The Night Nurse books are already quite expensive back issues (I've been trying to find reasonably priced issues since fellow CCF members pointed them out a few years back), I can't imagine what will happen to their prices once the speculator bump hits them. -M

Photo of director Scott Derrickson on set love the look of the door in the background-very Ditkoesque-perhaps from the temple of the Ancient One? -M

Back on the Tilda Swinton aspect of this, She used to be Derek Jarman's must-go-to actor/actress. She basically made her career with his movies, as did Sean Bean to a lesser degree. What's more interesting to me is the androgineous characteristic that she has developped over the years. She is the ultimate spellbinding sexual non-sexual actor around, deeply seductive yet almost gender-less. That aspect of hers was also used in her role in the Constantine movie. All that sai, she may very well be the best actress ever hired for a marvel movie, maybe even best actor!

Entertainment Weekly has a preview issue of the movie coming out, complete with photos of Benedict as Doc on the cover. CBR has a number of articles up based on the EW article Also one of the movie's producers definitely refers ot the Ancient One as her... but everything released so far looks and sounds really good. -M

Benedict looks amazing in that image. I think they've done a great job being respectful to the basic design while modernizing it a bit for modern audiences. Of all the upcoming Marvel films, this is the one that interests me the most. Dr. Strange is a character that deserves to become a household name like Iron Man did, thanks to the films.

I really thought they'd tone down the costume to him wearing like a blue-ish jacket with a red collar or something like that so color me surprised that they stuck with a look that is dead on to the comics.

The trailer debuts on Jimmy Kimmel tonight, I believe. Yep. DVR already set. It's Marvel week on Kimmel. Last night was Team Cap as guests, tonight Cumberbatch and the Strange trailer, and Clark Gregg from SHIELD. Tomorrow it's Team Iron Man form Civil War and Thursday is Chris Hemsworth. -M
