Betraying your teammates, robbing banks - yeah, that's bad. But this crosses a line . . .

I have to announce that while I am willing to still do the counting of the votes, this will be the last one where I can do it in a timely manner right after the vote closes. I am starting a new job on Wednesday and will, for the first 9 months or so, be a trainee sharing offices and won't have the "down time" to visit the boards during office hours (the vote closes at 9 am in my time zone, so it would be about 7 or 8 hours later when I can do the count). If that is too late for you all, somebody else can always jump in before I get to it, natch.

I've sent Pip a Private Message this morning, and since - I'm on the West Coast of United States - I can take care of the votes for this contest unless Pip tells otherwise. So, I will doing the count and notifying the winner in a timely basis so that next week contest can be officially underway in good spirits. I understand the4thpip's involvements in his work assigments and I'll continue doing this until I'm relieved by Pip. I wanted to help him out and keep this contest in smooth sailings ... Thanks the4thpip for all your love in the Classic Comic Cover Contests.

You did a heck of a job, stepping in for what was originally a temporary fill-in job and making it your own. It's been greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all your fine work on the contests and thanks to MechaGodzilla for stepping in to help. This is the sort of thing that helps to make this board great.

Farrar, because any cover where Bucky gets bitch-slapped is a winner in my book.
