Since Frank included such never-were combos as Stern/Kirby on Dr.Strange in his OP, I assumed it was my favorite in each individual creative role, not favorite team (though that's how many of my choices lined up). Cei-U! I summon the best guess! I was kind of under that assumption too. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't my lack of knowledge in whether these creative teams ever existed rather than assume so. Otherwise I was gonna start asking some people what issues these teams were on.

Cei-U! I summon the best guess! Frank also included Frazetta as his choice artist on Conan, but Frazetta never drew a Conan comic... so I'm going with the "dream team" approach too.

Iron ManWriter: David Michelinie Artist: George Tuska, Don Heck or Romita, Jr/Layton TarzanWriter: Joe Kubert Artist: Burne Hogarth Regarding Hogarth... His Tarzan really grew on me thanks to the recent reprints of his work. Great stuff. Between Foster, Hogarth and Manning, the lord of the jungle was really well handled. And Tuska's Iron Man will always remain THE Iron Man to me. Just as iconic as Herb Trimpe's Hulk.

Here are a few I feel particularly strongly about, as I think they've been handled badly by just about everyone apart from certain particular writers:
Crystal writer: Stan Lee/Jack Kirby artist: Jack Kirby
Orion writer: Jack Kirby artist: Jack Kirby
Moondragon writer: Steve Englehart artist: George Perez
Howard the Duck writer: Steve Gerber artist: Gene Colan & Steve Leialoha
Thena writer: Jack Kirby artist: Jack Kirby
comments:
These are characters who have been so mishandled by later writers that I can't think of any version other than those of the writers listed here as the same character at all.
Orion and Thena could be taken as representatives of the New Gods and the Eternals in general, since both those concepts have not been well treated, but these two characters have probably been the most consistently distorted and misunderstood from their respective series.
The artists, OTOH, I feel less strongly about. I think the ones listed here are the best, or at least my favourites, but in some cases there are some very viable contenders, particularly with Howard the Duck, where Frank Brunner might well be my first choice if you asked me another day.
With all the current furor over the treatment of female characters in comics, it boggles my mind that more readers aren't up in arms the way I am over the way Crystal, Moondragon, and Thena have been written by everyone other than the creators cited above. But I suppose none of the three was ever a popular character with the mass of comics fans - partly, I would argue, for the very reason that they challenged long-held assumptions about the role of female characters in the superhero genre. But younger readers probably wouldn't even have read the comics I would say defined those particular heroines.

I am not sure who were the artists back in the 80's for the Captain America series, but I definitely would say Mark Gruenwald was the definitive Captain America writer of my youth, regardless of who the illustrator was.
And then the combination of the Steve Epting/Ed Brubaker combination of Captain America from the 2000's was one of the best creative teams I have read on that character.

Wonder ManWriter Gerard Jones Artist Jeff Johnson Is there really any other choice??? To be honest, I don't know. Hasn't that character died and been resurrected more times than Adam Warlock? :-) All I think I remember about him, is wasn't he Swordman? Which I don't even know outside of Celestial Madonna. But yes that was a hell of a series. Edit: Green LanternGerard Jones M.D. Bright Which GL is this? I'd assume Hal, but I know what assuming does to myself.
