Yep, they were on the GL book in the early 90's.

Ive tried bits of Hal here and there. Stuff before Kyle, (where I started when I was first reading GL) and after that series ended and didn't really care for him. At least solo. I like JLA or Green Lantern Corp with him. But I think his personality was too "old" for my taste 15-20 years ago. At some point I'd like to give him a lengthy shot and get the remaining first 50 issues of the series I don't have yet and see if my opinion has changed.
