I just finished reading the 6 issue Bendis Man of Steel Mini series. When did Superman's son first appear? Was he introduced off panel or was there an issue when Lois gave birth ?

He first appeared in Convergence: Superman #2. Then in the Superman: Reborn (Superman #18 & 19/Action #975 & 976) arc his origins were "tweaked" to the Rebirth timeline (Action #976).
And to answer your question... Action #978 showed his birth at the Fortress of Solitude with Wonder Woman as midwife & Batman also there (because he is Batman).

So I gots a question that occurred to me on my commute home this morning. Has there ever been anything like someone who works at the place they print comics grabbing a stash of variants and offloading online? With all the dozens of high prices variants for Batman 50 this week surely some enterprising soul would see a way to make a quick buck or 2. As a factory worker I'm well aware of how valuable our product can be and know of some who've unsold staff sales so why wouldn't a printer.

I don't know of a specific case from a printer doing this; but; something similar was going on at Majestic Entertainment. In the early 90s, they produced a couple of comics, including Legacy (2 whole issues) and Majestic Presents. They also produced trading cards and had a license with the NFL. They were bootlegging their own cards and selling them to card shops and other clients, without reporting the sales and giving their cut to the NFL. The NFL found out and yanked the license and the company went under almost immediately. It was a strange place, according to a Comics Journal article, when the story was uncovered. The people who ran it were religious fundamentalists and there were people on the payroll who had nothing to do with the business and it sounded like there was what could be described as religious harassment, within the work environment.

Is Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2 the first time Amazing Spider-Man #1 is reprinted?

The first reprint was that same year, 1963, in Spain, in El Sorprendente Hombre Araña (Editora de Periódicos La Prensa S.C.L., 1963 series) #1 (June 30, 1963), according to the GCD.
As far as the first American reprint, it was in The Amazing Spider-Man [Golden Book and Record Set] (Marvel, 1966 series) #[nn] ([1966])
