Has anyone other than Batman and Green Arrow utilised a cave for superhero purposes? In the early days, the JLA had their HQ in a "cavern," though, admittedly, they decked it out nicely.

Hulk used a scientific hideout/cave Bruce Banner built in the New Mexico desert.

Both Rip Hunter and the Challengers of the Unknown. Rip had a "secret mountain lab," and the COTU had the innards of Challenger Mountain. This is a Bronze Age version, but trust me, it began as a cave with a secret entrance. (Diagram in COTU 40, "The Spy in Challenger Cave.")

I think the JLA used a cave at the beginning.

I think the JLA used a cave at the beginning. Yep, the Secret Sanctuary was in Happy Harbor, Snapper Carr's hometown.

I knew you guys wouldn’t let me down. I should have known about the Phantom. I don’t think I’ve ever read a Phantom comic other than the Defenders of the Earth ones.

Two of the hard rules about Time Travel in PreCrisis Superman stories were that one can't change the past and can't coexist with a past/future self (the time traveller would become a kind of "ghost"). Stop. (The former rule was a important plot point in Crisis too). Did the other titles which were supervised by other editors follow these rules too? I remember a DC Presents story where Superman Teemed up with The Atom and the latter was surprised to know these (he could travel in time thanks to the "Time Pool").

I think Reed Richards explained that you could never change your timeline, you only create another timeline. I'm guessing a made up thing like time travel will never had hard rules.

Well, after that they had a lot of exception (like all the Age of Apocalypse Saga or 1602), but I was referring specifically to Dc Comics
