zaku , I'm going to go with the immutable law of DC time travel that holds that no matter what you do to try to change the past, you simply can't. The past and time itself will somehow, however outlandishly, adapt to what you tried to do and have the last laugh. And always ironically, as irony was a staple of DC storytelling. Not that there's anything wrong... At DC, time travel in any "traditional" sense may not alter thee past, but a certain Crisis once changed the entire history of creation, past, present and future. That's like telling me that there was an Indiana Jones movie with Shia Leboeuf. Maybe it happened in another reality-stream. And even if I did think that "crisis" happened, wasn't it all retconned a few times?

And even if I did think that "crisis" happened, wasn't it all retconned a few times? The original Crisis comic was self-retconning. It was an exceptionally strange bird in that not only did it retcon itself into never happening, it's been retconned several times since, despite the fact that it never happened and there's no "thing" to retcon, but it got retconned anyway. Your head hurt yet?

Well, except for Brother Power 3, which I lent to Dan Bailey.

It happened in the main DC universe where it was so desperately needed to dunk the decades of silly stuff that would not even make the cut on Sesame Street into the round file cabinet.

Please don't insult Sesame Street. And if you mean the decades from 1990 through 2020, I'm with you.

Hi, I am desperately looking for a science fiction comics that I had come across in my primary school days; late 60’s or early 70’s. It was in color. The story begins and continues as follows : ———- We see an alien spacecraft landed in an area somewhere in the US and surrounded by the curious local residents and heavily armed US troops. As the human like aliens step out of the craft, suddenly a fast running boy runs towards them despite the efforts of the military to make him stop. Friendly looking aliens welcome the boy and leave the Earth with the boy to their own planet. Aliens’ planet is all green forest covered and dominated by dinosaur like wild animals. Aliens themselves live in huge glass domes scattered around the globe. ———- This is all I recall from the comics; no ending, no title, no author, illustrator whatsoever. Does anyone recall this sci-fi comics? This was my first sci-fi comics story. Thank you. Welcome to the forum, gecim! I don't recognize the story (yet). One piece of information that would help - what country were you in at the time? We have members all over the globe. Was this an American comic, or British, or somewhere else? Also, what other comics do you recall from that time period?

I heard that a few years ago Bane killed Alfred. Is he still dead ? I'm not sure if that's how he died... but Alfred is currently dead. He left all his money to Dick Grayson, which has been an major element of the current Nightwing book.

I am from Turkey. I had seen the story in a Turkish children periodical magazine by then. It was certainly a foreign story translated in to Turkish language. The beginning of the story made me think that it was of US origin.
