Is Marvel still publishing Masterworks or have they been replaced by the Epic line ? Hardcovers, yes. The paperback line was cancelled a few years back though.

I was checking out eBay for some collected comics and i prefer color. I have many Essentials, and though they're better than nothing, I prefer color when I read my comics. I find the Epic TPb's to be very reasonable when it comes to price per page count.

I might be late to the party but I discovered instocktrades and ordered two Epic Marvel collections and they both were 20 dollars. Ebay wanted a lot more.

Whenever I flick through an Epic collection in a bookshop I always feel that the large page count will cause the pages to come away from the spine if they are read much, as I had some TPBs with much smaller page counts do that. (So I stick to hardcover collections, which usually have sewn binding.) The Marvel Epic Collection line does give great value for money though.

Maybe reinforcing the spine with strong clear tape wouldn't be out of line ?
I've had certain books fall apart, like The Studio and the first hardbound Judge Dredd.
Heartbreaking

The cover of ASM #7 has the phrase ...This--The Marvel Age of Comics.
Just wondering when was the first time Stan Lee used this phrase. Either on the cover or inside on a splash page or in the letters section.

In the latest Thor: Ragnarok trailer, Thor's hammer is destroyed. I thought it was indestructible ?

^^^ I thought so too ... I just saw the trailer too and I'm puzzled by that seeing it destroyed by Hela - The Goddess of Death of which I did not know that she that powerful to do the unthinkable - capable of destroying Thor's Mjolnir.
I would like that question answer too!

Movies =/= funnybooks. The movie Mjolnir is clearly not indestructible.

Mjolnir is not indestructible, it having been destroyed/damaged multiple times. The Asgardian Destroyer sliced it in half in Journey Into Mystery #118 (July 1965); with it being repaired Journey Into Mystery #120 (Sept. 1965), The Molecule Man broke the atomic bonds of the hammer and essentially reducing it to its separate molecular components in Avengers#215 (Jan. 1982) and restored in Avengers#216 (Feb. 1982). Thor himself shattered the hammer after channeling energy through it firing upon the Celestial Exitar trying to stop him in Thor #388 (Feb. 1988) and restored by the Celestials in Thor #389 (Mar. 1988). Dark God Perrikus cuts Mjolnir in half with his mystical scythe in Thor vol. 2, #11 (May 1999) and restored Thor vol. 2, #11 (June 1999). The last time the hammer was shattered when striking with other uru weapons of the Storm Giants causing an atomic explosion in Thor vol. 2, #80 (Aug. 2004).

I believe Thor also broke his hammer in issue #600 (in 2009), hitting his own grandfather. Ah, those youngsters... no respect for the elderly.
