I'm a big fan of merging myth and the superhero, so New Gods for me. The Orion/Kalibak fights were ace, in particular. It was like I could feel every punch.
(Strangely, I was disappointed with the Demon.)

Can't wait to see the mosaic, hondobrode. I'd never heard of the Dingbats before. I think I'm going to have to pick this up. There are at least 2 unpublished issues. Dingbats is definitely an anachronism, nothing to do with the DCU, completely harmless, not so very brilliant and kind of fun. Karl Kesel kinda dusted them off back in his Adventures Of Superman days. First a background cameo about '95 where Clark, Lois, etc. were at a club, and Lucy Lane (I think) glanced at them and went: "What are you Dingbats lookin' at?" Couple years later, during the Minty Fresh Superman-era (hi, one of the 6 people & a cat who actually sat through that one, here!), Supes broke up a sorta prepubescent turf-war between them and Newsboys. It was ultimately settled by the Green Team.

Karl Kesel was so awesome on Superboy and the Kirby characters along with Tom Grummett. Love those issues !
