Kamandi by far! It's like 30 different Kirby concepts crammed into one run.

Kamandi by far! It's like 30 different Kirby concepts crammed into one run. It was Planet of The Apes on steroids

Kamandi. No doubt.

Here's another vote for Kamandi!
Kamandi #7 is one of my nominees for best comic book ever!

I'm just starting to put together a Kamandi run, so have not really read much Kamandi yet, but it was the love of the book encountered here (well the old classics forums that is) that inspired me to track it down.So without having read enough of it to vote for it, I would have to say my single favorite Kirby issue at DC is still New Gods #9-The Pact, but of what I have read larger portions of, my favorite DC series by Kirby still goes to Challengers of the Unknown.

I've read all of Kirby's Fourth World saga, but I've still yet to read The Demon, Kamandi or OMAC. For those of you who have the other Omnibus' featuring these characters (I have all the Fourth World stuff) are they of the same reprint quality? (Suffice to say, the Fourth World collections are my favorite reproductions of all-time.)

For me it was the Demon.

New Gods, followed closely by Forever People, Jimmy Olsen and The Demon. Kamandi is fun but it just doesn't do it for me the way these others do. I have a feeling, though, that once I've read them, Kirby's Losers will jump to the front of the line.
Cei-U! I summon the potential prescience!

I'm in the New Gods camp myself. Actually all of the Fourth World books are tied as number one.

New Gods for me, but Kamandi is just a little bit behind. (I actually like Kamandi more than the rest of Kirby's Fourth World stuff.)

Mister Miracle was my favorite. My introduction to comics and to Kirby was Jimmy Olsen, but Scott Free blew my mind in a way that Jimmy couldn't.

I have a feeling, though, that once I've read them, Kirby's Losers will jump to the front of the line. Which I wish DC would bring out in TPB. I summon the power of penuriousness!
