I find my reaction to giant green rabbits in Star Wars to be much less atrabilious since the creation of Jar Jar Binks. Why, Jaxxon sounds positively great, now! Oh, hush now! He always sounded great. I'm not on my computer but on my phone reading this. Shaxper I hope right under Confessor's avatar it's says "Not Bucky O'Hare". : -) It does indeed. Yep, all is well with the universe again, folks. Great to see all you guys again!

Hi everyone! Glad to be here and really glad to have found you all again. I'm sure some of you will remember me...I'm a refuge from the old CBR Classic Comics forum. Once upon a time I used to post over there a lot -- with my areas of *a-hem* expertise being Silver & Bronze Age Spider-Man, Tintin, Astro City and Marvel's old Star Wars comics -- but over the past year or more, life and work have gotten in the way and I've had long periods of absence from the forum. I only heard about this place last week from Dan Bailey (or Dan B. in the Underworld or whatever the hell he's calling himself these days! ) and he also filled me in on the heavy shit that took place over at the CBR forums back in April and the awful en masse deleting of threads that occurred -- shaxper, I really hope that you were able to save all your review threads, man. Anyway, like I say, I'm genuinely happy to have found you all again and I'm really looking forward to chatting about some classic comics with all my old pals. I had so many great discussions and exchanges of information over the years at the old Classic forum with the likes of (off the top of my head) Cei-U!, Dan Bailey, benday-dot, shaxper, Slam Bradley, Prince Hal, Rob Allen, MDG, Roquefort Raider, berk, Lone Ranger, Scott Harris, Chris Nowlin and so many other great folks. I'm really gonna try extra hard to be a better and more frequently contributing member of the community here than I was in recent times over at the old CBR forums. So then, what's new and what did I miss? Welcome back, old friend! You've been missed. I'm still in the process of restoring the old review threads here, but yes, they're all backed up

Heya folks, just a quick intro to say "hello".
As a long time CBR Classic Comics lurker and occasional poster (ok, hardly ever...) it's really great to have found this board as I recognize many your names and look forward to (trying) to be more active.
I am an even loooooonger fan of silver and bronze age comics having been lucky enough to find and save my Uncle's comic stash from his garage in ~1975. It was love at first sight, smell and read and it's been a life long obsession ever since!
Currently completing my 60's decade Action Comics run and then moving on to 70's decade Batman. I am not a high grade collector just a dude approaching 50 that loves the oldies!
Thanks

Thanks RR! My wife still thinks I am crazy when I open the cover of an old comic and comment on that wonderful old newspaper smell, glad to hear I am not the only one!

Thanks Between the Kamandi avatar and the conviction about not collecting high grade comics, you just made yourself a friend Welcome aboard!

So then, what's new and what did I miss? You are entirely welcome. Assuming you are finally prepared to concede that One More Day is a terrible, terrible story. Or was it Sins Past you were confused about?

You are entirely welcome. Assuming you are finally prepared to concede that One More Day is a terrible, terrible story. Or was it Sins Past you were confused about? Ha ha...not One More Day, I hated that clusterf**k with a passion, but yeah...I thought Sins Past was brilliant. Probably my favourite Spidey story arc of the 21st century, in fact. I know that's gonna be a controversial thing for you to hear me say but deep down, I know that I'm right. ...and so do you.
