Hi there, I'm Syl, from France. I'm a web developer and amateur comic scriptwriter. I enjoy American, European and Japanese comics (I'm fascinated by differences between those three comic cultures). I'm about to launch a participatory comic book project called Project Castafiore, but I will explain more in another post. |

I'm Allan, new member, sent to this group by a friend in a sci-fi Goodreads group. I'm 62, live in Texas, and did a lot of collecting in my college years, the late 70's. I'm mainly a Silver/Bronze Age Marvel guy, and much of my collection was built from the original Mile High Comics store in Boulder, Colorado, which, at the time, was just a small shop crammed with boxes. I have extensive collections of the first volumes of Spider-Man, Avengers & Thor and lots of other miscellaneous Marvels. My daughter is a college student, about to graduate with a degree in animation. She's joined me in collecting, costuming for cons (old school Red Skull here) and loves anime & manga.
