Hi, everyone! I've been a long-time reader and thought it was finally time to introduce myself and post once in awhile! I got into comics in the infamous early 90s, and I'm now a fan of a wide array of comics - Marvel (especially Silver Age), DC (especially post-Crisis), indies (especially original Valiant and now lots from Dark Horse, IDW, and Image), and foreign (especially Valerian and works such as those by Druillet, Koike, Tardi, and Tezuka). I do read a fair amount of new stuff each month, but there's nothing like the hunt for the old stuff, am I right?! I look forward to joining in the conversations!

Hi, comic reader & collector.
Like a bit of everything, but I'd say my favourite era of books is the bronze age, fairly balanced between Marvel and DC.

Howdy @rags and hope you keep your bronze age polished up nicely. Lots of greatness to be found there to enjoy and the same here in the CCF.

Re: bronze age... I just had a flashback of asking a comic shop owner if he thought of trying to get in more '70s back issues, I was looking for the 100 page Tarzans at the time, and he grunted something about most of that stuff doesn't sell, isn't valuable, and nobody wants it when he does have some. Now everything '70s seems to be very popular which is nice to finally see!
Welcome michael, bb and Rags!

Hello everyone,
My name is Jeff,....I live in Louisiana, and like most am kinda homebound at the present due to c19.
I collect comics, mainly golden age, precode horror and crime, some western and war, silver age and then it fades pretty fast after that unless you count the few new stuff I read.,...like
JLA Dark, Moosnhiners, criminal, and maybe 2 or 3 more.,....
I also collect vintage toys, and movie posters, paperbacks, musical instruments, and well, you get the idea.

I am curious what types you collect? I have a toe dipped in vintage toys as well, but my budget says I mostly just window shop when it comes to that. -M

Hey I'm Pat, I'm 29. I have been collecting comics religiously since my mid teens, but I got my first comic when I was 4 it was Godzilla vs Hero Zero and I still have it. I'm curretly in school working on BFA trying to do comics professionally. I'm a huge Marvel and Image Guy, but I love DC and Dark Horse too.
