Though I would also give special mentions to Doug Moench's first run on Batman/Detective, Giffen & DeMatteis on JLI, Moore and Totleben on Swamp Thing, Moore, Davis & Leach on Marvelman/Miracleman and Claremont & Cockrum on X-Men (the first time around).

1) Shade The Changing Man (1-70 by Peter Milligan, Bachalo and various) 2) Bone (1-43 Jeff Smith) 3) Dungeon (the whole series, written by Trondheim and Sfar, sometimes illustrated by them) 4) Hellblazer (1-39 by Jamie Delano, although I'd tend to say 1-300 as I like the whole series, Milligan & Jenkins!) 5) BPRD (8-132 by John Arcudi mainly, with help from Mignola, Guy Davis and a bunch of great fill in artists)
