How interested are you in these?
1 - Are you asking me if I love my parents and my children? 2 - Very excited about this, already planning the budget accordingly. 3 - Quite interested, I've always enjoyed Star Wars. 4 - If it's good, I'll try it out. 5 - I grew out of it / never was into it, but the marketing/media plan might trick me back/into it. 6 - I love the old stuff but that's it, I'm out. 7 - I couldn't care less, bring me something original and/or new. 8 - Never was into it, and it's still the case.
I'm a 5

Combination of 2,3,4+6. Super excited for the new movie and really enjoying the new comics. Not interested in any merchandise. willing to try new video games if they look good.

I would say I am quite interested in the movies, but that is it. If I happen upon some of the older comics during my collecting, I may pick them up. Outside of that, Star Wars doesn't draw me in. I am far from a super fan, just one who enjoyed the original 3 a lot and watched the newest 3 feeling like I missed the point (other than to make money of course)
I will see the new one for sure. Expectations are neutral.

I'll see the movie if it gets decent reviews.
That's it. I'm too old for toys and have zero interest in tie-in merchandise.

I like Star Wars a lot but I still haven't seen all of the last group of movies. I'm REALLY easily influenced by reviews.
I'll read the new Star Wars comics if they come from the library, although that's more 'cause I like Jason Aaron and Mark Waid than 'cause I like Star Wars.

I won't be seeing the movie in theaters, but I'll watch it eventually. I want to get Battlefield on PS4 Won't be reading the comics or buying the toys.

I'll see the movie. If I don't see it in a theater, it probably means I'm not ever seeing a new movie in a theater again.
I'm currently reading and enjoying the new line of comic books.
I'll be reading the new Aftermath book in the next week.
I have no interest in Battlefront, I'll probably wait for something LEGO when it comes to video games.
I still have my toys from the 1970s, no need to buy new ones.
I'm not in the market for collectibles, but if someone bought me a Star Wars item for Christmas, I'm not turning it down.

My uncle had the original toys, and then I had them not long after him" both of us wish we had kept them

Wow, not alot of love here! I'm around 2, I'd say. Loving the Marvel version of the comics.. super excited for the movie. I don't spend much money of action figures and the like any more, but I wouldn't be opposed to a t-shirt . I'll likely go to the 12:01 opening night show... should be fun for the reactions and such.

My wife is super-excited for the movie. We will see it in the theatre. I requested the Aftermath novel from the library for her, and will probably read it while we have it out. I also plan on picking up the Shattered Empire comics by Rucka which comes out this week I believe. The other Marvel Star Wars stuff I will check out when it hits unlimited. My wife is a big fan of Rebels as well. As for video games, not interested, haven't owned a home gaming console since the original NES and don't plan on changing that any time soon. Toys, maybe one or two things that catch our fancy as an impulse buy, but no plans to go out and get anything specific. We saw a Pop Vinyl Stormtrooper and Dewback figure that was a Wal-Mart exclusive for Force Friday in the ad, and we both adored it, but not enough to go at midnight to try to get one of the 6 each store was getting, so it will be a matter of timing and mood when I run into something if I buy it (or she does). On the scale, my wife is probably a 3, I am somewhere between 4 and 5.

Oh yeah, forgot about Rebels. I'll watch it as long as I can find it and they maintain the quality. I think I've seen all the first season? So far it's been pretty good. As with clone wars previously, they do a surprisingly good job with what theyre given. I'm personally thrilled to be done with the clone wars and all related. Just wish the new characters and their designs etc were more interesting and different.

To me, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi - Is the Star Wars that I grew up watching and loved. All others after that - doesn't do me any justice at all. I'm a 6 and if any new Star Wars Movies comes out - I will pass on it and stick with the three that I loved the most.

I'm a mix between 2, 3 and 6. I'm one of those people who was far too young to see the original films in the cinema (I turned 34 last week but was in my teens during the mid-1990s when Star Wars really took off again outside the movies. In a very real way I became a Star Wars fan as much because of Timothy Zahn as George Lucas. I'd always liked the films but Heir to the Empire and its sequels invested me in the fandom. I still have about 40 (not a typo) Star Wars novels from the 1990s and as I'm writing this I'm re-reading Tales From the Mos Eisley Cantina a 1995 short story collection about all the weirdos from the Cantina in the first film (if you ever find it it is a seriously fun read and well worth picking up.) Anyway I was only so-so on the prequel films but the point is for me Star Wars has never just meant the films. It's novels, short stories, the rpg (two different versions), computer games and of course comics. Of course this disadvantage of this was that I was heavily invested in the old continuity that grew up in the 1990s and got mangled by the prequels and then thrown out altogether once Disney bought the rights.

I guess I'm about a 3 for the movie, not much interest for the rest of the stuff.

I'm pretty excited to see the new movie, but that's it.
I tried the first two issues of Marvel's new SW comic, but dropped it, feeling that it was pretty substandard and not wholly in line with the events of the original trilogy, continuity-wise. I haven't had any interest in buying or collecting SW toys since about 1985, when I turned 13.
