Read Boris Karloff's Tales of Mystery #39 and Caspar's Ghostland #67 from 1972, horrific tally now at 30..... -M Casper is Richie Rich's Ghost. I know that they crossed over...but I'm sticking to that theory.

Interest piqued by the news that Len Wein is returning to Swamp Thing, I dog out the Root so the Swamp Thing mini form 1986 that reprints/collects the first 10 issues of the Wein/Wrightson Swamp Thing run, and read issues #1 and 2 (collecting 1-4 of the original run). The origin, the Un-Men and Anton Arcane, The Patchwork Man and the Monster on the Moors all in 4 issues, great, great stuff, quintessential horror tropes freshly reworked and rendered by Wrightson; can't go wrong there.
Horrific tally now at 36....
hoping to get to the rest of the run tomorrow, we'll see.

Finished up the Roots of the Swamp Thing-the res tof the Wein/Wrightson Swamp Thing run (#5-10; plus Wein Wrightson stories from House of Mystery #191 (The Night Prowler) and #221 (He Who Laughs Last) and the Swamp Thing prototype story from House of Secrets #92 totalling about 7 comics worth of material...
...so the horrific tally is now at 43 for the month...

Well, we do Comedy where I started these things, and I guess I'll just continue to double post the threads. I'll work on it now. So horror/comedy books would double count today and tomorrow.
