Those hats would all be wonderful choices, except that they should be on fire.
Interesting that all those noxiously flavored boozes aren't colored what the actual (allegedly) edible part of the banana is. They all resemble what I'm requested to do into a cup at the doctor's office.
Well at least they don't taste and smell like what you put in the doctor's cup as well as look like it, the way most American mass produced domestic beers do. -M We've found some common ground then, because I agree with you on most of the popular domestic beers. Including some of those that are famously brewed right here in Wisconsin.

Also, I'd begin the question the motives of a leader who suggests you wear flaming headgear...there's some safety issues there and might cut short the length of your membership...

Just curious - what's the ABL's position on plantains?

Just curious - what's the ABL's position on plantains? In regards to plantains, I can't really say because I've never eaten them. As with bananas, I would try them before declaring them evil, but I don't really hold out much hope that they would be any better. If you've had both, how would you compare them?

Well, as the graphic says, plantains are not as sweet. They're firmer and starchier - more like a potato. And like a potato, they can be cooked in many ways. A Cuban friend introduced me to fried plantains a couple of decades ago - very simple and delicious.

Never had plantains before but to me they look like the banana's less evil cousin but still evil. I will try almost any food once before I declare I don't like them but it doesn't look good for the plantains.

DE Sinclair CCF Mod Squad
You can add me to the list of members here disliking bananas because about 75 percent of the time - I ended up throwing away an overripe banana in the garbage because no good to eat. That's exactly what me and my girlfriend were talking about a couple days ago because she brought bananas from the store and her boss had asked her to go on a four days business trip for work. She brought the bananas three days before her trip and got sidetracked and completely forgot about them. We both stopped buying them for good.
So, she ended up throwing away a $1.30 worth of bananas and she couldn't use them at all.
That's not good at all ...

Welcome to the Anti-Banana League...we appreciate you realizing the godawfulness of that mushy "fruit" known as the banana. Tell your friends.

Mine are already yellowing and spotting (even though green in the store) the minute I walk in the door from purchasing them. I feed all my over-ripe bananas to my dog. He LOVES them. The second he hears me peel a banana, he runs into the kitchen and slips into Beg Mode.
