Problem with Angel from my Perspective Part 1 of 2 These are two of my all time favorite superhero costumes, especially the blue one! It's sleek, slick, and the blue and white color scheme work well for somebody called the Angel. Plus, I like the chest logo.

#34 Black CatAlter Ego - Felicia Hardy First AppearanceThe Amazing Spider-Man #194 (July 1979) Bronze Age of Comics Costume Features that I like the mostI like the White Trim on her black sleeves of her skin-tight outfit and her white hair makes the outfit "pops" ... one of the sleekest costumes in Marvel History. The Black makes her mysterious and elegant. Classy! Great (With the White Trim!) Boots too! ... Also the White Trim around her bosom area to complete it! Four Feline Pictures of the Black Cat!

#33 Blonde PhantonNotes to Everyone: My Favorite Golden Age Marvel Comics Character of All-Time. And, my last Golden Age Character too. Alter Ego - Louise Grant Mason First AppearanceAll Select Comics #11 (Fall 1946) Golden Age of Comics Costume Features that I like the mostClassy Elegant Gown in Red that Dazzle when she wears it out in Public fighting Crime. I just loved the Gown and combined that with her Blonde Hair - She's one of the most sexiest female hero that Marvel has during the Golden Era of Comics. Throughout her Red Gown - there are "jewels" scattered in all the right places making this skin-tight gown a winner! So Graceful and Stunning too! Great Splash Page of Blonde PhantomFantastic Issue of the Blonde Phantom HereShe made an appearance on this Comics Magazine! Two more great Pictures of the Blonde PhantomAccording to my dear friend - Marvel got their inspiration to do the Blonde Phantom based on another character called the Blonde Bomber shown below. Her alter-ego was Honey Blake and made multiple appearances in the Green Hornet Comics.

#34 Black CatAlter Ego - Felicia Hardy First AppearanceThe Amazing Spider-Man #194 (July 1979) Bronze Age of Comics I know that a lot of folks around these parts dislike the Black Cat, feeling that she's nothing more than a cheap Catwoman knock off. But she's one of my favourite characters in the Spider-Man comics. I love her costume and agree that it's very striking, as well as being fairly practical for an expert cat burglar (at least, it's as practical as comic book costumes ever get). In addition, I think Felicia's relationship with Peter Parker is really interesting in the way that it's changed over the years, going from being the capricious lover who was only interested in Peter as Spidey, and not Peter himself, to an ex-girlfriend and staunch ally of Peter's in his fight against crime. Perhaps most interestingly, she was later revealed to be the victim of a historic sexual assault, something that she's been trying to come to terms with over the years. For the record, I absolutely HATE what has been done to the Black Cat's character (and all those years of character development) since the "One More Day", Mephisto devil-deal, clusterf**k happened in Amazing Spider-Man #545. Thanks to the likes of Bob Gale and Dan Slott, theses days, I just tend to find Felicia Hardy annoying.

According to Alan Davis, when he redesigned Captain Britain's costume he intended the high boots and white leggings to evoke the image of an old fashioned British Cavalry uniform. He felt the Captain should look like a soldier, but not a modern day one. Humph! In my opinion he should've just let it be and kept the classic costume. yeah, sounds like a classic case of over-thinking something. Which is the classic costume -the red one?

About the Falcon's green costume - I think I prefer that one even though I'm more used to the one with the red wings. But could he fly back then, or was that ability added with the costume change?

"Generic"? The Neal Adams Angel design is "generic"?

Added with the costume change. He changed to the red and white when the Black Panther gave him his wings.

Added with the costume change. He changed to the red and white when the Black Panther gave him his wings. I didn't even know the Panther was the one who gave him the wings, but now that I do, I think Marvel missed a step not including that in the movies somehow. Would have been a ready-made connection with the Captain America movies.

Sorry to momentarily hi-jack MechaGodzilla's thread, but yeah, as tingramretro says, the original Cap Britain costume was the red one with the golden lion on the chest. Soooooo much cooler looking that the red, white and blue monstrosity, with ludicrous thigh-high boots, that came afterwards. Here's a pic... And here's one just to annoy all the Americans in the forum, with our man besting puny Captain America... Remember: British, therefore best!

The blue and white with the halo emblem is my favorite Angel costume. With the early X-men, the generic uniforms didn't really bother me. I recently finished X-Men Omnibus volume 1 and the costumes struck me more of the school uniform. However, I was happy when the team got their own individual looks, around issue 39 I think.
Black Cat: Always liked her! I had a poster of her painted by Jusko back in the 80s. She was perched on a rooftop making the "SHHHH" sign and I think she had a bag of money or jewelry. The fur on the arms and legs of the costume is a bit much for me, but I like the fun around the collar.
Blonde Phantom: Glamorous and perfect for the Golden Age! The mask, the blonde hair, the red evening gown.....stylish, fun, classy looking!

Yep, this one, a little fussy but still a lot better than the Archangel look, I think...
