Looks like Tyler Hoechlin is TV's new Superman. I, for one, am stunned by the decision to cast a black-haired muscleman for the part.

I've never seen him in anything, but he looks Supermanny. It's a shame they went so young (CW, I guess...); it seemed the Superman in Supergirl is supposed to have been well established when he found teenaged Kara like a decade ago...
I know Supes often doesn't age after a certain point, but still...

Tyler Hoechlin is too unknown to me and I was hoping for Tom Welling instead and I was disappointed in that.

I haven't seen him act, but he certainly looks Supermanish. Tom Welling would have been cool, but I am looking forward to seeing Superman's appearance.

Looks like former Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter has been cast to play the President of the United States in the upcoming season of Supergirl. The story on CBR called it a major role, so it should be a recurring character.

Yeah, but all those pictures are of Supes with the full beard. When it comes to facial hair, I say go big or go home. Either clean shaven or full beard. |
