It is the nature of this site and others like it to discuss and dissect the good and the bad. Top ten lists are drawn up and revered, but I have a question for everyone. Which story arc , or storyline do you like reading over and over again , even though it's regarded as bad or terrible? I love to read the Captain America story line " Fighting chance". It was from Mark Gruenwald and Dave Hoover. Man, I like the entire challenge of him trying to tie up a few things before dying from the deterioration of the Super soldier formula. It resulted in him getting an exoskeleton from Stark in his last days. It starts with this : And ended with him immobile here: This is the armor that he had at the end.

For me, it's the super-hero era Blackhawks (#228-241). Utterly brain-dead "camp" stories and ludicrous names/costumes, a complete violation of everything the series once was, and yet I love 'em.

Fleischer and Aparo on The Spectre, for sure. Why is that a guilty pleasure? When I read 'em, it's just plain pleasure! Cei-U! Don't make me turn you to wood and run you through a buzzsaw, young man!

Most of my guilty pleasure reading tends to be prose. Bad pulp writing.
Though to be fair Prince Hal has a good point. Comics have traditionally been the lowest of the low in reading material.

I would guess erotica. Most people don't want to be caught guilty reading it. Though depending on the author's compentacy you might learn something practical.
As comics go I would say Age of Apocalypse I've read a lot over the years and I seem to be one of the few that like it.

I don't have any guilty pleasure comic reads. I don't usually read the same thing over and over again yet. And I avoid bad comics like the plague.
Ask me about music or food, though.
