I've got an adult size cape I got a few years ago after "Man of Steel" had been out for a while. I got it on clearance from Walmart for about $7. Obviously too big for he "Krypto", but they did have kids size as well.

It's coming from China, so the estimated delivery time was January 11th-February 12th, so who knows when I'll actually get it, but photos everywhere when it finally gets here. The only issue I see *possibly* popping up is his neck being too big for it to close around it properly, since he has a 16" neck, and I assume most little kids do not have 16" necks. I mean, I would hope not.

Hopefully it will stay on long enough for a picture, though you never know, he might like it. We had a dog who would wear sunglasses when she rode in the car, and seemed to like it.

The one I ordered even has the "S" in all yellow.

Of course Krypto rules! Worst thing about "Post-Crisis" Superman was the lack of Krypto! They did bring him back eventually (through a round-about method). It took a while, but it gave us the great scene where Krypto was unveiled to the Justice League. The look on Wallys, Kyles and Plastic Mans faces...

Why did they always draw aunt May like a 100 year's old mummy ?! There, I've said it... They wanted to make sure that we never, under any circumstance, started to view Aunt May as a sexual entity. Aunt May in Ultimate Spider-Man comic and TV cartoon isn't necessarily a MILF/GILF but she's certainly not 616 Aunt May. A fairly nice balance between to convey she's still "on the market" but she's no hussy either. Edit: There was actually an episode where Peter was trying to sabotage a date between May and Agent Colson.

The cape arrived! And it came with a mask. The eye holes on the mask are a little too close together to quite fit my dog's big noggin' correctly, so he looks super odd with it on. But, oh god. It's hilarious.
Too bad it's raining ice and death outside, so I cannot get pictures today.

My favorite Spider-man run was between the 180's and 250 along with the PPSS issues from that era.
I said it.

I grew up reading most of what followed for the next decade (251-350), along with a lot of the Len Wein era back issues(chunks of 151-181), which I enjoyed even more than the mid-80s "alternating costumes" years.

The Burgler comes back storyline from #195 to 200 was gripping. #213-215 had a nice crossover with Namor and the FF. There was a classic Battle between Spidey and the Juggernaut in #229/230. And of course the intro of the Hobgoblin in #238.

I would highly recommend Roger Sterns entire run which runs from Amazing #224-251 with John Romita Jr. on art...great reads. Stern also had a run before his Amazing one on Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man which ran roughly from #43-61 with only a couple fill ins. It wasn't as good as his Amazing but it was still good stuff.

I have one issue of Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man which is the one with the cover of Santa and he's got a gun, and I think he's got a cigar in his mouth. A cigar or cigarette. Anyway, if this ran the same time as AMS, what does this series deal with that makes it different from AMS? <---sorry if that is a silly question with an obvious answer.

Originally Spectacular would deal with Spidey and his campus life at ESU...his schooling, classmates, etc. Amazing would focus on Spidey too but would be more about the Daily Bugle and it's characters. It had different writers too that would have parallel storylines to each other that would sometimes reference each other at times and the storylines would sometimes intersect especially in later years. The first couple years of Spectacular are bumpy but finally finds it's footing with Bill Mantlo and then Roger Stern and is pretty consistent then until around #200. Hope that helps!
