Ray Palmer as The Atom is much more interesting than Hank "I don't know what superhero I am this week" Pym.
There. I said it.

I read soooo much Namor. So. Much. Namor. And even *I* couldn't exactly recall what color his trunks were in the golden age. And I just read that, what, last week? Yeah, last week. I like when his trunks look like short swim trunks, though. Not that speedo stuff. Speedos are just not really that attractive on anyone. In fact, I think that the skin-tight polyester bell bottom body suits men sometimes wore in the 70s looks better than speedos. And that's something. The problem I see is when certain artists draw Namor's trunks as bikini briefs. That's just not a good look. I can see him having a superior attitude about it like Dr. Manhattan in Watchmen. "Your surface world standards of modesty mean nothing to Namor!"

I think The Dark Knight Rises is the best of the three Nolan Batman films.
There1 I said it.

I mean, maybe literally. There's a lot of Atom stuff I've never read. But most of what I have read has been horrible.

I always think Maximus should be written as the Inhuman whose power is to be so smart he's crazy, which is why they have to keep him locked up most of the time. Good point! And in fact he was was locked up when he devised the breathing apparatus for Triton I mentioned, here's the FF #54 (1966) sequence.

He was great when PAD wrote him in the 90's. That was easily Aquaman's worst era. I liked the whole long hair, beard and hook for a hand Aquaman. He was actually badass for a change. There are far worse eras of Aquaman out there.

All the other Inhumans have an easily identifiable power, so his must be off-the-scale intelligence, a level or two higher than the human geniuses of the MU like Reed Richards: so smart no one can understand him, so intelligent he's effectively insane - by our inferior human standards..

Maximus' powers are psychic in nature: he can mentally influence the entire population of Attilan (which is why he can seize power as often as he does) or he can control the actions or even erase the memory of an individual, as seen in Amazing Adventures #5.
Cei-U! I summon the diagnosis!

Say what you want about a buff Namor
Aquaman's original costume for so many years was modeled after a gold fish. A gold fish!!
"I must strike terror in the hearts of evil doers everywhere. What should I wear? Humm, there's a school of sharks.. now a school of piranhas..no, wait, a school of goldfish. Thats it!! I will be Goldfish Man!!!

"Your surface world standards of modesty mean nothing to Namor!" Apparently modern fans complained about the green trunks, so they returned him to the black outfit. If I had my way, I'd cover him in nothing but clam shell with a bit of seaweed for support. That'll learn um'!

He clearly kept up with his cardio before this convention.
