Opinions on the Razzies in particular aside, I think there is room to recognize the difference between ribbing versus mocking someone for an illness or disability, even if unknowingly. In 2022, the hosts of the YouTube channel RedLetter Media (Mike Stoklasa, Rich Evans and Jay Bauman) used Bruce Willis as a constant joke when "reviewing" his films, making all manner of lowbrow, insulting remarks about Willis, his lack of acting skills and suggestions about his state of mind. After Willis' diagnosis was made public, the RedLetter Media hosts tried to save face by walking back their constant insults / wanting to move past Willis, but the damage was done.

I thought the plot of DH #4 was clever and Oliphant made a good villain. But yeah, taking out a helicopter and a Harrier Jet was a bit much. DH 5 was got into Fast and Furious territory. Nothing will ever top John Rambo, firing a LAW rocket, from inside the cockpit of a Huey helicopter, without killing the rescued POWs sitting behind him. Dirty Harry's The Enforcer had already demonstrated the problem with this scenario..... I could just hear the debriefing with Trautman: Rambo: "I got everyone out." Trautman: "Then you blew them all up, killing them and destroying any evidence of American POWs still in Vietnamese hands." Rambo: "But I destroyed the Russian gunship." Trautman: "While invading a foreign country and killing its soldiers on an illegal mission that the CIA has already disavowed." Rambo: "But I blew up tanks with my little explosive arrowheads." Trautman: "Which couldn't hold enough explosive to blow open a padlock." Rambo: "The knife was cool, though." Trautman: "Yeah, the knife was cool."

And who decide the difference? When a bunch of people declare in a very pubblic cerimony that you, and only YOU, are the absolute worst actor of the year among thousands, why you shouldn't feel angry, offended or worse? And then there has been the debacle when they nominated a 12 YEAR OLD as the worst actress of the year. linkYes, a bunch of adults publicly liked to bully a kid. Exactly in the name of what?

Or running past exploding mines that have a casualty radius of 100 feet.

When I first started reading Spider-Man comics, I thought Spidey's underarm web nets were organic webbing produced from his armpits. Seriously.

How much needle work did Peter have to do for this purely decorative add on to his costume? and what kind of thread did he use to stop them from constantly shredding. Are they elastic to prevent hampering his movements?

Obviously bullying children or anyone is not okay, and people take things too far. This is obviously not okay. On the other hand, I don't like people getting carried way with saying any satire or mockery of public works is bad (not saying that is what you are saying). There is a difference between "this movie is bad and that performance was bad" and "you are a horrible person and that movie was trash made by incompetent hacks of substandard intelligence who are mentally ill and morally bad." Making fun of cringey dialogue is fine. Ripping on a kid is not.

I'm a regular viewer of Honest Trailers. But what the satire of the Razzies is all about really escapes me. I mean, they are the people who nominated Shining as the worst movie and Shelley Duvall as the worst actress. And considering the abuse that the latter suffered on the set of the film, what's the point of piling on?

I don't like mean for the sake of being mean.

It's kind of weird to me how most artists (especially after Ditko) nixed Spidey's underarm web cape. I mean to me it's like getting rid of Namor's little wings on his feet, it's iconic

Peter was not a metrosexual. At least not at that point.
