Just to give you a bit more (which you perhaps already know) The Mist (the original one of which Cei-U mentions) dies during the Robinson Starman run. His daughter becomes the Mist and is pretty much THE major villain of the series, (though she's gone for a while... for a good story reason) Plastique was a Firestorm bad guy first... I think she was originally devised as a Free Quebec activist that developed into a general merc good at blowing things up. She did indeed migrate over to Captain Atom, where they had a long standing love-hate relationship. She (I think) dies in Suicide Squad. General Eiling is the guy that was the evil establishment military dude in Captain Atom... I think he was in charge of the project (admin wise, not science wise) that created him. I agree Flash has plenty of villains.. if they're going to borrow, they need'em over in Arrow alot more

Eiling was also used in the Justice League animated series I believe.

I hope Cold becomes a recurring cast member. Both Captain Cold, AND Heatwave (along with Firestorm, Hawkgirl, Atom, White Canary and several others), are cast members on "Legends of Tomorrow" -- the mid-season show that replaces Arrow on the summer schedule.

That has the Atom in it! (The Atom is my very favorite straight DC superhero type, so that's pretty exciting.)
I just started watching episode 7 and there's a guy who's half Electro and half the Parasite. Who? Is this another damn Firestorm villain?

Just be aware that Atom on the show is much more like Iron Man or X-O Man O War than the traditional Atom, at least as far as I have gotten with his appearances in the Flash show, i.e. billionaire industrialist/scientist genius who creates a suit of power armor to fight crime. -M

Ha! I read that. Don't remember a damn thing about it, but I read it. I think Aquaman was evil? Also there were a bunch of tie-ins I didn't read.
Next is Flash vs. Arrow. I watched the first couple episodes of Arrow and gave up in despair, so I'm not sure about this. But there's another "Rogue" episode come back, so maybe Captain Cold will come back.
What did they do for Arrow villains? He kind of has the lamest rogues gallery of any major DC hero, and this from a the guy who will vehemently defend Hawkman and the freaking Martian Manhunter's villains! Who is even his arch-enemy? Pollution? Heroin?

I've still got 2-3 episodes from last season of Arrow to catch up on and half the Flash season (I am lucky to get 2-3 hours of tv viewing in a week and shows pile up on the DVR-and I only record like 4-5 shows. -M

But it was a Flash caused event. at to Arrow's villains? Mostly borrowing from other sources.. so he's fighting Damian Dark and Hive right now. and he's previously fought Deathstroke, Brother Blood, Ra's Al Guhl and Deadshot. . so they are mining Titans (and an occasional Batman) villain, but at least Speedy is on the team And Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad are around too. the only "real" Arrow villain he's fought, I think, has been Merlin. (and Count Vertigo. . but a TV version) the crossover, I'd recommend watching, because it really is simply setting up the spin off show.. putting all the heroes together, so they can spin off: Captain Cold, Heatwave, Firestorm, & Hawkgirl from Flash, and Atom & White Canary from Arrow.

Meanwhile they have the Clock King on the Flash! (It was pretty awesome, actually - I hope Clock King comes back! I always wanted a scene where Clock King is standing around a corner with a gun, waiting for the Flash "Let's see... moving at 1,047 miles an hour, * .88 for Wind Resistance, figure in the flow of traffic... means I should pull the trigger...... now." ) 15 minutes into the Arrow crossover. I remember reading about Rainbow Raider with Psycho Pirate powers, and here he is. And also there is Captain Boomerang! Is this an actual crossover crossover? The library has the first two seasons of Arrow and they're never checked out, so I'd feel ok just getting one disc for a Flash appearance.

you wanted more Captain Cold and Heatwave? (not to mention Atom shrinking). . here they are, plus previously *unannounced* HAWKMAN in the just released trailer.
Likely too geeky for the general public, but I think it looks spectacular!

I just started the episode of Flash that has the Atom in it, and I was quite unhappy with the interpretation. Although I'm pretty sure they are fighting the Queen Bee. Kinda cool that they're teaming up against a JLA villain. I'm glad to see Cold as a regular somewhere. Do the Piper and the Trickster come back? They were my other favorite villains. The less time spent on the Reverse Flash plot and more time spent with old school rogues the better.

Alright, who's the shape changer guy in episode # 19. That's another one I don't recognize.
