Alright, who's the shape changer guy in episode # 19. That's another one I don't recognize. that's "Everyman". . he was one of Lex Luthor's sponsored "Infinity Inc." team members. tho he was presented as a hero in the comics . . it was revealed later that he had killed Skyman and had been masquerading as him.

Thank you!
Was that from the Peter Milligan series?
Hell, I not just read but *own* the first trade of that. Still, must not have made much of an impression on me....
Also the Queen Bee was not the Queen Bee, but (supposedly) the Bug Eyed Bandit.
Which, okay, makes sense for an Atom crossover. But she was a lot closer to the comics Queen Bee.

You've jumped a bit ahead of me. I'm trying to watch both Flash and Arrow. Up to #17.
Had to finish Jessica Jones before continuing, and am considering Man in the High Castle.

Not really. . he's from the Lex Luthor version of the team that was in the "52" year long series. Milligan only used a handful of those characters (Starlight, Nuklon, and Fury). . tho he completely changed their powers and codenames: Natasha Irons became Vaporlock, Nuklon became Double Trouble, and Fury became Amazing Woman. Everyman may have shown up as a villain, but I don't recall. . .it's been a long time since I read it

Hey, watching season 2!
Episode 1: Atom Smasher came over from Earth 2 in episode 1. He was the Golden Age Atom's son, right? I'm really poorly read in Infinity Inc./Young All-Stars - but I assume that he debuted on the "Real" Pre-Crisis Earth 2.
Poor Al Rothstien is pretty much a straight-up villain here - I think he killed some guy? Which is dissapointing.
Episode 2: Sand-Demon Is that supposed to be Sandy the Golden Boy? He was all trapped in a sand creature body in the '70s JLA, and he definitely comes from Earth 2. Sand Demon's wasn't named Sandy, though....
Episode 3: Captain Cold and Golden Glider I really like Captain Cold on this show. That is all.
Episode 4: Some dude who gets fire powers while failing to merge with Martin Stein to become Firestorm I don't think he even had a code-name. Certainly didn't look familiar at all.
Episode 5: Dr. Light (Kimiyo) Also came from Earth two, and (I assume) secretly Linda Park? Annoying. Dr. Light 1 was at least involved in a JLA Crossover! Dr. Light 2 was never a villain, certainly not a petty thief - that is so far beneath her! - and wasn't from Earth-2. Whatever happened to poor Kimiyo post 1990? Probably killed off in some crappy crossover. I DO like that the Flash show is playing around with the idea of alternate universe duplicates, though.
Episode 6: Zoom Agh, I get post-Crisis Zoom and the Reverse Flash's backstories confused. I'm pretty sure that Jay Garrick actually fought an evil speedster once or twice back in the Golden Age, so they could have used an actual earth two character. Little annoyed that "evil Flash" seems to be the big bad again.

Poor Al Rothstien is pretty much a straight-up villain here - I think he killed some guy? Which is dissapointing.Someone correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause it's been a while since I saw the episode... but didn't Al Rothstein kill Al Rothstein? Episode 2: Sand-Demon Is that supposed to be Sandy the Golden Boy? He was all trapped in a sand creature body in the '70s JLA, and he definitely comes from Earth 2. Sand Demon's wasn't named Sandy, though....Firestorm villain. They kept his name and powers, but tossed him over to Earth-2 and ditched the "Martin Stein lookalike" angle. Episode 3: Captain Cold and Golden Glider I really like Captain Cold on this show. That is all.Cicso trying so hard not to crush on Glider. Hilarity. Episode 4: Some dude who gets fire powers while failing to merge with Martin Stein to become Firestorm I don't think he even had a code-name. Certainly didn't look familiar at all.Firestorm villain. Again. Doesn't look familiar because they changed him from white to black and de-aged him by 30 or 40 years. Episode 5: Dr. Light (Kimiyo) Also came from Earth two, and (I assume) secretly Linda Park? Annoying. Dr. Light 1 was at least involved in a JLA Crossover! Probably killed off in some crappy crossover. I DO like that the Flash show is playing around with the idea of alternate universe duplicates, though. At first I was (very) mildly ticked that the changed the character so much, but I quickly started getting a kick out of it. The costume was pretty cool, and the actress got to have some real fun with it later on. Episode 6: Zoom Agh, I get post-Crisis Zoom and the Reverse Flash's backstories confused.? Does not compute! But then, I grew up reading Flash vs. Reverse Flash stories. The lamer later version of Zoom didn't appear until I was much older.

Just started episode 8, which is a Green Arrow crossover. * Freaking Firestorm villains! I... I can name Killer Frost but that's it. I guess I'm glad that the Sand Guy wasn't Sandy. (If only because I would be mad they brought on, and killed off, Sandy without showing us a live action Wesley Dodds!) * What was the name of the Firestorm bad guy in episode 4? I would google but I am 1.7 seasons behind and would rather avoid spoilers. * I did end up reluctantly digging what they did with Doctor Light. Hopefully Linda Park as superhero will stick around. * Weren't there two Reverse Flash types running (HA!) around for a while? Maybe during the Geoff Johns run - Which I thought was only occasionally good enough to be called "Godawful" so it's not like I've re-read it or remember much. * For all my complaints, I'm really glad to see Earth-2 and I like how the show is approaching it. One of the reasons the Crisis on the Infinite Earths bugged me was that the Earth 2 concept (I felt) had a lot of unrealized potential. What does it mean psychologically/sociologically/spiritually to know that there is another *You* running around somewhere? Except for Alan Brennert's stuff DC didn't touch on those aspects of multiple worlds very often so I love seeing the Flash tackle that a little bit. * Jay Garrick is too young, though. Maybe they don't want too many middle-aged-to-old dudes running around your show on the teenybopper network, but Flash-as-mentor would have worked better with a middle aged Jay. It might have been a little icky to pair him off with Caitlin (who is... not a meta-human? Huh.) and the show really, really wants to pair all the character off right now! * Speaking of which... Patty Spivot sound really familiar, but I don't remember what comic she was in. * Like I really dig that there is one actor playing two "Harrison Wells'" as completely different people. Like you can see how the nature is the same but the nurture is different? * Did... did they just make Vibe kind of cool? Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. I would never have believed that in a million years. * I just started Episode 8 but I'm wondering if the knife throwing guy isn't Vandal Savage? Somehow? They really should have hired a dude who looks more like a Caveman. I think of Vandal Savage as a Flash Villain - the first time I ran into him was a '70s Barry Allen/Jay Garrick team-up - but he was originally a Green Lantern enemy I believe. Are they tring to tie him into Hawkman? Hawkman actually has a pretty good rogues gallery - Gentleman Ghost, Byth, Shadow Thief, Matter Master, Golden Eagle... They could use one of them. * I gave up on Arrow after, like, season 1 episode 5. He has a female Speedy? I think there was a girl Speedy in the comics... '00s Green Arrow is another one of those comics I read a fair amount of but didn't like much and don't remember. Sadly, no Arrowette. Cissy King Jones from Peter David's Young Justice is one of my three or four favorite post Crisis superhero interpretations. * I'm fine with race swapping, but it seems like they are trying to make Iris out to be not-the-worst-person-who-has-ever-lived after doing a good job capturing her abject terribleness last season. This is an insulting violation of continuity, and it must not stand! * So... are we gonna have the JSA or what? C'mon! Please?

* So... are we gonna have the JSA or what? C'mon! Please? DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 2 Well, I'm probably not getting to that for a while. Untitled (But I will at some point!) Oh yeah forgot one.. Who's Damien Dahrk? Does he have a comics pedigree at all? I only saw a little bit of him but thought he was one of the cooler villains... Gahd, I might have to watch Arrow, although the paternity drama sub-plot is absolutely everything I don't want from superheroes. Also: Gorilla City! I thought it was and then the DVD special features actually said Gorilla City! So great. Also - Predicting that Zoom (you don't see his face) is the Earth Two version of one of the main cast.. .Possibly Barry's father? I'm rooting for Evil Earth-Two Iris, but that's probably not happening.

Earth Two! They are on Earth Two! Soooooo Goooooood! Not to be hyperbolic, but Season 2 episode 13 was the best thing I have ever seen on TV. Everything I ever wanted from an Earth-Two - and what I rarely got from the comics.
I would like some more actual earth two characters, but you can't have everything. I keep hoping they're teasing Hourman with all Jay Garrick doing drugs all the time, but I'm probably clutching at straws.
Villains:
The Turtle! Done poorly and turned into a boring psycho-killer type but still.. . The Turtle! Cool.
Earth Two Killer Frost!
Tar Pit I vaguely remember as a Nu-Flash villain, from circa 2003 or so.
Deathstorm was the evil zombie Firestorm from the Blackest Night crossover. That was about the best of the Geoff Johns "my-biggest-influence-isFriday the 13 part 9" period. Wonder if he comes back from the dead.
Geomancer I'm guessing another damn Firestorm villain. He had Geo Force of the Outsiders style glasses, but the show is comics accurate enough that I am sure they would not introduce Geo-Force without mentioning Markovia.
Reverb Might be original to the show?

Geomancer is actually a JSA villian - he was a member of Johnny Sorrow's Injustice League. as to Reverb. . nope, he really is from the comics, where he's "Vibe's" Brother. He suddenly appeared after Vibe was killed off in JLA with similar powers. He was a member of the "anti-JLA" team that was led by Booster Gold (heck if I can remember that team name tho. . . .I know it had Gypsy as a member, and the "gimmick" was that they were corporate sponsored and got paid to save people).

Hardline? Same guy? It seems like every Flash character was in the comics first. I don't know if that is cool or not. So... Trajectory? I made a list of female speedsters: * Jessie Quick (Who they are pretty much promising will be on the show.) * The Russian Speedster who became an American courier in (I think) Mike Baron's Flash run. * X-S from the Legion. * Wally's kid from the second Mark Waid Flash run. * A bunch of alternate universe characters - I am particularly fond of the Tangent Flash! I wonder if she ends up being one of them? * King Shark - I first ran into him as a Superboy (Conner) villain. I dunno if he originated somewhere else. He was in the New 52 Suicide Squad (and apparently in the Green Arrow Suicide Squad as well.) I was gonna watch Arrow just to see the Suicide Sqaud, but then I saw the big budget movie and it depressed me. Don't think he was ever a Flash villain. * Time Wraiths - Never showed up when Superman or Supergirl time travelled, and were not part of the Atom's time pool. I could see this being part of "52" or something, which had Rip Hunter in it. * Arrow seemed to be a little less comic nerdy, so Lila - who's name I didn't figure out 'till I read the AV Club's Review - could be original to the show

The character on the TV show shares a resemblance in name only.
