There were a few entries that were flimsy. Co- writing a book is not what the CCC was about this year, yet I saw a few creators listed that didn't do the writing themselves. Oh well, I guess Kurt will sort it out. This is true but you probably shouldn't count on me sorting it out. I've caught what I could but I'm just not conversant enough with foreign comics, indies and post-1986 Big Two stuff to act across the board. As I stated elsewhere, I run these surveys on the honor system, counting on you folks to play fair and to do your due diligence before posting. If you guys err (or, heaven forbid, cheat), there's not a lot I can do about it. Cei-U! I summon the harsh reality! All my picks were secretly for people who share the names of popular cartoonists, but who do not themselves every do scripting.

I'm weak in European Comics (and this CCF has proved that) but I'm pretty strong in Manga, Indies and recent superheros and I didn't see any ineligible entries that... well, I'm sure you didn't catch as well.

Before the classic started, I asked Cei-u if I could use Groo for Sergio Aragones. He told me that it was dialogued and co written by Mark Evanier so it wasn't eligible. I believe your Danger Girl pick falls into the same category. It was co written by Andy Hartnell.

Are the "wordless novels" OK? There is no script, as such, since they're wordless, but they weren't collaborations with a writer who provided a script for the artist, which is what I took to be the spirit of that rule.
