I don't expect to win any awards with this but I had to give a shout-out to one of my favorite lame Batman villains - CAPTAIN STINGAREE! This is the conclusion to a story than ran from Detective Comics #460 to #462. IT'S JUST NUTS! There are three other Batmans running around. It's gloriously, wondrously, stupefyingly dumb. TOTALLY BONKERS! I only recommend it for fans with a very high tolerance for high-grade Bronze Age crack.

Nah, Barbe-rousse or Barbe-rouge is just as famous a pirate figure as Black Beard, at least in french speaking countries
