Okay, goals for 2016, which I will certainly fail at. In order of priority: 1. Get Boy Comics #3 and #4This will complete the run, but I doubt I'll come into the kind of money I need to do this. 2. Get Life with Archie #136This will give me #77-286. 3. Get Hero for Hire #2 and #3Will complete my Hero for Hire run, so I can actually read this stuff. 4. Fill out my Conan the Barbarian run. I need 10 issues to have #14-275 5.Finish my Kull collection and read itI need 6 issues to have all three runs. I need to get these and read them, because I have a weird idea I'm not going to actually like them enough to want to keep them. And I definitely need the storage space if that turns out to be true. 6. Work on my review threadsEspecially Superman and Wonder Woman. 7. Work on Archie and Pep runs.Seriously, there are so many issues of Archie. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard since most of them are worth nothing, but 670 issues is a lot of issues. Pep is more of a sideline at this point, I'm losing interest in it a little, at least post-12 cent era. 8. Work on Sgt. RockI need 46 issues to have #209-422. Most of them are dollar bin material, just need to find the right dollar bins. 9. Work on my 50 cent bin collectionsPower Man, Master of Kung Fu, and Tomb of Dracula are all runs I am piecing together only from dollar or less bins. And I'm not actually going to spend a whole dollar on any of them either, except 20 cent issues of ToD. 10. Read the backlog...Still have giant runs of Thor and other books to get through. 11. ...so I can winnow down my collection.I'm out of storage space. I need to get rid of as many comics as I buy. That means reading comics to determine what I want to keep, and making some tough choices. There's a lot of stuff in my collection I know I'm never going to read again, but getting rid of it is still tough for sentimental reasons. Post the issues that you need. Maybe I or someone else has the issues you need.

I'm going to have a pretty good year if I can do everything I want to: 1)In 2013, I had to unload most of my best books due to financial woes I couldn't solve, and it depleted some complete runs that I've been putting back together. I need Avengers 4 to complete the series, Incredible Hulk 102 & 180-182, Amazing Spider-Man 3-6, 8-12, 15-18, 21-24, 26, 27, 29, 35, 40, 44, 45, 47,62, 70, 73, 75, 80, 84, 85, 87, 89, 91, 92, 94, 95, 98, 101, & 129 and Uncanny X-Men 97, 99, 100, 102, 104, 105, 108, 110-112. Getting those books will finally get those collections complete again and hopefully allow me to put that awful time behind me. 2)Finish Thor from 125 up and fill in a few holes in Journey Into Mystery 84-124. 3)Finish Fantastic Four from 9 up and get one or two out of issues 2-8. 4)Finish Captain America from 100 up. Only need a few high-dollar ones and 20 or 30 common books. 5)Buy one of the following: Amazing Fantasy 15, Fantastic Four 1, Journey Into Mystery 83. I'll get one of those sometime this year. I'm just waiting until I find the right ones.

My record keeping has really been subpar this last year. I keep discovering that I am Re-buying comics that I already have. I was so annoyed to find out that I lack Eternal Warrior #42 after buying #43 twice, thinking that was the missing book.

Whoa....I'll be eager to see that one! Me too! That's a great and lofty goal. And I like that he's given us three options. It has the guarded optimism of Spider-Man, the reasoned sensibility of Reed Richards, and the boastfulness of Thor. Ah, to be that young again!
What do you think? If you had to rank order of attainability in desirable grade from least to greatest? FF1, JiM83, AF15, right?
And Pat T, I predict you will buy AF15. Why? Because you are a member of the CCF, so you are already a cut above.

For 2016 I'd like to:
Fill in the Steve Englehart run on Captain America. I got a couple of back issues (155,156) of this run for Christmas, and have several issues bought from back in the day. I need around 20 or so issues to complete.
Fill in more of the 100 Page Super Spectaculars from the original group (the DC-# issues). I still need 3 or 4, depending if I get the War issue (DC-9).
Finish the Cat series. I have #3, need #1, 2, & 4. My LCS has all 4 of the series, just need to build up in-store credits to get them at half price.
Overall, relatively doable.

I'll be taking a shot at completing my Justice League of America run. Only 15 issues to go, with #1 of course being the toughest just because of cost.
Other than that, I'll just continue filling in various runs and getting all the golden age goodies I can!

Not a lot of items are on my list of stuff to get. I'll pick up whatever catches my eye. I'll probably go pick up more commissioned artwork, that's about it.

I have started to collect the Deathstroke series from the 90's. I had the entire run ,but during the time that I was separated from my first wife, I was forced to sell some of my collection to make ends meet. I also started buying Bronze age Superman titles. They are pretty inexpensive, so I'm putting together a collection.

I'm going to back off on collecting for awhile because of my Father's Estate and taking care of Family and all. I'm planning on using 2017 as a catch-up year on collecting and reading.

Goals for this year will be as follows:
1) Catch up on reading. Waaaay behind still. This feels like it will forever be a goal lol. 2) Purchase ASM #50. This is the year! 3) Purchase one of Marvel Spotlight #5, Hulk Annual #1 (Steranko cover) or Tomb of Dracula 10 4) More ASM issues between #60-90. Time to complete this stretch. 5) A toy biz toy! Preferably the Scorpion figure (one of my favs from the animated 90s series) Can I update/add goals?
The reading is coming along finally. Still a lot to go but I am trying for a comic a day. I am not sure on a big purchase, having just made the biggest life purchase (aka a house) and well, that is going to require some cutting back.
I would like to add obtaining the Captain Marvel Starlin issues to this. I think that, along with ASM issues between 60-90 will be my main focus. As for keys, Daredevil 168 is another I want to get on before is gets too pricey. We shall see.
