Two things unrelated to the swipiness here: 1) Despite what I saw on the GCD, that can't be a Carmine Infantino face on Superman, can it? Did they pull here what thye did on all those Kirby Jimmy Olsen covers? 2) Rare from-below shot of Krypto, who does a nice job hiding his dog junk.

Re the Superman face on the Flash cover: great observation! I have read in several places that Infantino typically provided very loose pencils and so the finished look of Infantino's pencils owed a lot to whoever inked him, in particular Murphy Anderson and Sid Greene. Here the cover inker is listed as Mike Esposito, which I can see in Supes' eyebrows, mouth, expression, etc....but maybe someone else also lent a hand.
