^ Great find, Prince Hal. From memories, I think there are other "blind soldier" covers--or "shoulder carrying" covers, but I cannot remember specific titles at the moment.

Although I've seen both covers countless times, it only occurred to me last night that WW 288 is an homage to Senastion 1 - even the "Sensational New Wonder Woman" is a sly hint to that fact.

Alex Ross's new "Marvels: Epilogue" is full of Easter Eggs. Always appreciate Ross's panel-to-panel recreations. Takes the work to a level the original did not consider, eve in subtle expressions.

Both the magazine and the comic were both published by the same company so I guess this is a re-use rather than a swipe.

Alex Ross's new "Marvels: Epilogue" is full of Easter Eggs. That looks like Dave Cockrum with the beard at the bottom right.

I was thinking about the "Yellow Peril" caricature of a Japanese person as a gargoyle in the lower right here. Did this inspire the look of the Skrulls?
