some true classics to choose from this week, but I'm going to go with:
Hoosier X
since that was not only a reinvention of the character/name, but it also tied heavily into the mythology of the prior hero with that name.
edit: (LOL.. and I just noticed that while I was looking thru the options, HoosierX voted for ME. . . LOL. this was not a case of vote-swapping!)

I narrowed it down to issues that were entirely different with no warning there would be a change.
But that didn't really help because there were still many worthy entries: jodoc; bert; mdg; Matt P; Crimebuster.
So then I went with the one whose impact has lasted the longest, which brought me to Crimebuster because it made Green Arrow the major player he has been ever since.

I loved Paradox's "electric blue" cover.
Honorable mentions to pinkfloydsound17 and The Question.

MDG
Lots of excellent candidates, but I can't refrain from voting for this House of Mystery cover, a personal favourite. BTW, I'm surprised no one picked Bill Sienkiewicz, or some other artist who completely changed his style.

Farrar gets my vote, too. I can't think of a better costume makeover than Wonder Girl's.

While that Wonder Girl cover is tempting, I'm going for

TheQuestion. EC's New Trend fits perfectly with the theme. Props to MatthewP and Prince Hal.

Richard Bishop
Iron Man was silly before and while his first "new armour" still looks silly, its a wonderful colour scheme that has stood the test of time.
