I was never a fan of the circus and never went at any time in my life. There! I said it!

Did you notice how those evil clown sightings suddenly stopped? And now the biggest circus is closing? Co-incidence? I think not!!!

Playing catch-up on a number of things here:
Over the years, I've come to have a greater appreciation for Queen as I've gotten into more of their music. Our local classic rock station would only play "We Are The Champions" and "We Will Rock You", and while those songs are OK, they pale in comparison to the rest of Queen's catalog.
ABBA certainly has some catchy songs and I can't deny that they have a certain charm, but I had a former girlfriend who was really into them. Things ended badly between us, and as a result, I really can't stomach listening to anything by ABBA, although time has made it easier to not change the radio station when "Dancing Queen" comes on.
I've been to many concerts in my life. My father, as I think I've mentioned before, was the rock music critic for one of the papers here in town for almost two decades, so he went to most of the shows that came through town. The promoters always sent him two tickets, and if no one else at the paper wanted the second one (and they rarely did), I had the option to go with him. Since I was in public school for about half the time he did that, I was only allowed to go to a handful of shows during the school year, but once summer came, I could go to as many as I wanted.
There. I said it, on multiple topics, in my 2,000th post.

I haven't bought a comic from Mile High Comics in over 3 years so why am I still on their mailing list?
They've got 10,000,000 (10 million) back issues in stock but on my very first random check, not a single copy of any Punisher comic I was looking for.
FAIL.
There, I said it.

Wowww. That is awful. I was told I was a b@st@rd child because my dad was not my mom's first husband, and since the Catholics did not acknowledge divorce, they did not acknowledge my dad being married to my mom, therefore they did not acknowledge me. I was a b@st@Rd. CATHOLICISM IS AWESOME. I was 3 when my parents got married.. my friends used to make a joke out of it... whenever they'd call me a b@st@rd, (mostly when I was beating them in cards or some other game), I'd happily respond, 'yes, what does that have to do with it' and it would make everyone laugh. I was not good at jokes when I was little, tho. I was probably too busy unknowingly being one.

I met Mick Jagger once and it wasn't at a Rolling Stones concert. He's a big fan of cricket and was in the crowd backing the Brits during a match with the West Indies team. I was a teen back then and in the crowd with my dad, who's also a cricket fan. Mick was cordial with everyone which was nice to see.

Yeah, their selection has gone WAY down hill... even as the pre-discount prices have gone up. The last couple times I looked for things there I was horrified.

This is so cool and I did not know that Mick Jagger was a Cricket Fan and glad that you had a chance to see him and he was cordial and kind to people. This is great stuff RAZORMAID. Thanks for sharing it.

I don't understand this mad passion for self-driving vehicles. I prefer driving the old fashioned way. There! I said it!

Yeah, I don't see why anyone would even trust a self driving car. The human race is getting more and more lazy and this is how Machines took over in the Terminator movies.
