Note to All:
I can clearly say this ... it will take me a half a year to do all Godzilla Movies and it's an time consuming process to do these reviews and I just wanted to get this off my chest.

I forgot to mention this in the earlier film, but one of the English voice dubbers for Gigantis was none other than George Takei. further details HERE

Godzilla verses Mothra - Wrap Up GodzillaGodzilla who had blown onto Kurada Beach, and buried under mud by the hurricane. He suddenly emerges and begins to attack Nagoya. Sakai, Junko, and Miura travel to Infant Island to request the Shobijin to send Mothra to defeat Godzilla. They started their classic Battle and unfortunately Battle TogetherThe natives of the island and the Shobijin are eventually convinced by the trio. However, the Shobijin warn them that Mothra is already near death by natural causes of which it was difficult to undertake and became a serious problem to deal with. Then, Kumayama barges into Torahata's room and demands to get his money back that Torahata had recently swindled from him. Kumayama is shot by Torahata, then he too is killed when Godzilla arrives and destroys his hotel. Mothra arrives just when Godzilla reaches her egg and engages him in battle. Briefly, she seems to be winning, even spraying Godzilla with a poisonous powder, though this is ineffective. Despite giving her all, Godzilla hits her with his atomic breath, and Mothra collapses and dies from exhaustion. Godzilla loses interest in the egg, and proceeds with his rampage of which it was a very serious mistake on the part of Godzilla in this movie; her egg hatched into two twin larvae, who then continued to battle Godzilla. The young Mothras managed to drive Godzilla back out to sea, and they then returned to Infant Island. Twin Larvae of MothraLarva setting up the attack on GodzillaThe JSDF launch multiple campaigns against Godzilla until two giant larvas hatch from Mothra's egg. They follow Godzilla to Iwa Island and trap him with their silk spray until he falls into the sea. Sakai, Junko, and Miura thank the Mothra larvas and Shobijin as they return to Infant island. The End.

Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964)
Monster Spotlight Rodan Height: 50 Meters (164 Feet) Wingspan: 120 Meters (394 Feet) Weight: 15,000 metric tons Notes to All ... Rodan's Wingspan is nearly 4 times longer than a B-17 Flying Fortress that flew in World War 2. The Japanese name of Rodan, "Radon," is a contraction of "pteranodon" and may also have been chosen to suggest radiation. In the United States, the monster's name was changed to and trademarked as "Rodan."

Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964)
Monster Spotlight Ghidorah, King Ghidorah Height: 100 meters (328 Feet) Wingspan: 150 meters (492 Feet) ... Nearly 2 1/2 larger than a 747! Weight: 30,000 metric tons Notes to All: King Ghidorah's name is composed of "King" (キング Kingu?) and "Ghidorah." The "Ghidorah" part of King Ghidorah's name comes from the Japanese word for "hydra" (ヒドラ Hidora?), which is spelt very similarly to the Japanese katakana for Ghidorah.

Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964)Police Detective Shindo is currently assigned to guard Princess Selina Salno of Selgina during the Princess' visit to Japan, due to a suspected assassination plot. Although Shindo is smitten with Selina's photograph, her plane never makes it to Japan, as it is destroyed by a bomb en route. At exactly the same time a meteorite shower draws the attention of Professor Murai who along with his team of scientists strikes out into the wilderness to examine the largest of the meteors, which has magnetic properties. Princess Selina being played by Akiko Wakabayashi who is better known in English-speaking countries for her role as Bond girl Aki in the 1967 James Bond movie You Only Live Twice. Professor - Picture from Godzilla verses MothraTo Shindo's surprise, the supposedly deceased Selina turns up in Japan, without her royal garb including the golden bracelet that proves she is heir to the throne of Selgina, claiming to be from the planet Venus, and preaching to skeptical crowds of forthcoming disaster. To their surprise however, her prophecies begin coming true. First she predicts Rodan, thought dead in the eruption of Mt. Aso, will emerge from Aso's crater.Subsequently, none other than Godzilla will arise from the sea and destroy a ship. Both of these events transpire. Movie Poster
I have a copy of this movie poster at home. In the meantime, Selina's uncle, who was behind the assassination attempt, learns of her survival and sends his best assassin Malmess (Hisaya Ito) to Japan to dispatch the Princess and steal the golden bracelet. Malmess and his henchmen are stopped by Shindo, who was warned of their attempt by the Shobijin (Emi and Yumi Ito), who were in Japan appearing on a television show. The Shobijin had been scheduled to return to Infant Island aboard the ship sunk by Godzilla, but opted not to go after overhearing Selina's prophecy. A further attempt by the assassins is thwarted when both Godzilla and Rodan attack the city and engage in battle, forcing everyone to flee. Part Two of this review will be in by Thursday and/or Friday at the latest.

Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964) - Part TwoTo combat the combined threats of the three monsters, the Japanese government enlists the aid of the Shobijin to summon Mothra (the surviving larvae from the previous film). Upon arriving on the Japanese mainland, Mothra attempts to persuade the quarreling Godzilla and Rodan to team up against the evil alien (which is translated to the humans by the Shobijin) but both refuse, with Godzilla stating they have no reason to save mankind as both it and Rodan "have always had trouble with men and men hate them", to which Rodan agrees. Despite Mothra stating that Earth belongs to them as well and that it is their duty to defend it, Godzilla and Rodan still refuse and the pair refuse to forgive each other, wanting to continue their fight. The Twins ShobijinUnable to convince them and despite being vastly outmatched, Mothra calls the pair of them "bullheaded" and resolves to fight Ghidorah by herself. Mothra engages Ghidorah and is continually blasted by its gravity beams. Fortunately for Mothra, Godzilla and Rodan, impressed by her courage and selflessness, arrive to help, and a titanic battle against Ghidorah begins. Meanwhile, Shindo and Dr. Tsukamoto are forced to protect Princess Selina as Malmess and his men converge on Tsukamoto's clinic; they manage to fend off the killers and escape into the mountains as the dueling monsters draw closer to a thrilling climax. With the heroes thus saved from the human menace, they gather at a safe distance to watch the battle between Earth's monsters and Ghidorah. After now gaining a clear advantage over Ghidorah, the three monsters coordinate their attack; Battle TogetherGodzilla grabs hold of Ghidorah's tails while Mothra (riding on Rodan's back) sprays the three-headed dragon with her silk. Finally, Godzilla throws the alien beast off the cliff and the battered dragon flies off, back into outer space. A scene that I will never forget. Classic Picture of Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra. As Mothra and the Shobijin return to Infant Island while Godzilla and Rodan go their separate ways, Selina, having retained the memories of her time with Shindo, bids farewell to her guardian as she meets her bodyguards at the airport to return home.

Godzilla verses Monster Zero is next!
To me, it's one of my least favorite ... it's in the top 3 of the worst movies of the SHOWA ERA.

Godzilla verses Monster Zero or Invasion of Astro-MonsterPart 1 of 2In the 1960s, two astronauts, Fuji and Glenn, are sent to investigate the surface of the mysterious "Planet X". There they encounter advanced and seemingly benevolent human-like beings called the Xiliens and their leader The Controller. FujiGlennNick Adams the star of Godzilla verses Monster Zero The ControllerThe aliens usher the astronauts into their underground base, and moments later the surface is attacked by a creature the Xiliens call "Monster Zero", but which the astronauts recognize as King Ghidorah, a planet-destroying monster that had attacked Earth once before in the previous adventure Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster that terrorized Japan. King GhidorahThe monster eventually leaves, but the Controller states that Ghidorah has been attacking repeatedly, forcing them to live underground in constant fear. He requests to borrow the Earth monsters Godzilla and Rodan to act as sentries against Ghidorah's attacks, in return for the cure for cancer (the English dub says the formula can cure any disease). The brave astronauts return to Earth via a Rocketship called P-1 and deliver the message. P-1Meanwhile, an ignorant (very) inventor named Tetsuo has designed a personal alarm that emits an ear-splitting electric siren. He sells it to a lovely and gorgeous businesswoman named Miss Namikawa, but she disappears before paying him. Tetsuo is romantically involved with Fuji's sister, Haruno, but Fuji disapproves and berates him for getting scammed. Tetsuo sees Miss Namikawa with Glenn and later follows her, but he is captured and imprisoned by Xilien spies that left him with a very concerned look on his face.
