Who would know more about crying than this guy?

Is this really necessary? And to a newlywed? Who's your speechwriter, bry -- Trump? (I apologize in advance, mods, but really, this is getting ridiculous.) Are you serious with this?? C'mon, POST your submissions and then step away! Just post your comic book cover...why make an issue out of this? Post your image and then stay away until it is time to vote. Yes, it is such a difficult concept, correct?? Um, Prince Hal is not the one making an issue out of this.

I'd be crying, too, if my tattoo went down that low.

I can honestly say that none of the back and forth comments have EVER influenced my vote. The stuff that's said is clever and funny.
Lighten up everyone. we're all friends here.

seriously? much of the fun is seeing other covers and commenting on them. Seriously...just keeping your yap trap shut is a hard thing to control?? yes, it is. because commenting on what others have posted has LONG been a part of the contest. and is a lot of what makes the whole thing more fun.

Y'know, when I copied the rules to paste into my post this week, I was sore tempted to delete this bit -
'If you don't think the cover fits the theme, don't vote for it; don't post disparaging remarks about it.'
because I feel it unduly restricts the conversation around here. It doesn't allow for a middle ground between silence and insult. This is a good and friendly group; if we felt a cover didn't fit the theme, surely we could say so without being disparaging. Cause the discussion about the covers everybody chooses, sharing the enthusiasm or even debating the merits, is at least half the fun of this contest. And it's helpful to quote the cover you're talking about. That's all. I don't think people doing so has ever swayed my vote.
In the end, of course, I left it in. Cause I didn't want to make an arbitrary rule change like that on my own. It's not my place to tell people how to comport themselves around here.

there can only be one! (can't believe I got to it first ) And I'm really glad somebody picked this cover. Supergirl and a cute cat - what's not to love? Your Mileage May Vary, of course.

Can also honestly say I've never had my vote influenced by lively discussion, at least not consciously. Is there a monetary prize for winning that I'm unaware of? Thought this was just for a lark.
Anyway, Feldstein:
