I like the idea of the panels in the background, but I think they are a little distracting. It might work if the colors were muted, so I took the background image and faded it. I'm not sure if this will work better or not, but it might be easier on the eyes:

I was thinking along a similar line, but instead coating it in a thick blue that compliments the menu bars.
I will play with it when I have more time later tonight.

I would agree the panels from the Kree-Skrull War make the background a little too busy. Considering all the work you've gone to, I wouldn't mention it, but you asked.

Is there a way to change the background to something neutral? I love the old Marvel art, but it's a little too obvious that I'm doing something not work-related.

Hi. Nice place you got here.
Is there a way to see more than 10 posts per page? I looked in profile and settings and cannot find it. Thanks.

I am seeing 15 posts per page. When the forums first went up, I was at 10 per page, but now it is 15. I have not changed any of my settings. Perhaps shax changed the default at some point but not everyone's browser cache has realized it? Or something?
I don't even know if that's how browsers work. I feel like my own great grandmother.

I like the current look. It'll be difficult to change it for the better. Maybe upscaling the smaller avatars? Also, not strictly aesthetics, but could the Avengers pic at the top be replaced by an animated gif, containing different genres/companies? I'm a die hard Marvel fan, but it seems like the fair thing to do.

Is it the suggestion thread?
If so, is it possible (might not be!) to ad the PREV 1 2 3 NEXT to the bottom of the pages to? Sometimes I think it's the end of the thread and don't think about looking at the top of the page for that. Might just be me though...

Hi. Nice place you got here. Is there a way to see more than 10 posts per page? I looked in profile and settings and cannot find it. Thanks. I have the forum set at 15, so that's pretty odd. What browser are you using? I like the current look. It'll be difficult to change it for the better. Maybe upscaling the smaller avatars? They're bigger than they were at CBR. Do we need bigger still? To the best of my knowledge, our current banner is temporary. Scott Harris has been working up something to replace it which should be pretty impressive and address the kind of diversity you're seeking. I'm really looking forward to it Is it the suggestion thread? If so, is it possible (might not be!) to ad the PREV 1 2 3 NEXT to the bottom of the pages to? Sometimes I think it's the end of the thread and don't think about looking at the top of the page for that. Might just be me though... Not sure if I have the power to control this. It's a great suggestion, so I will look into it. I have a LOT of work ahead of me tonight, but I hope to look into it by Sunday night. Thanks.

Okay, I have a slightly tweaked version of the banner I made the other night. It's basically the same, but I made it taller. I think the width is at least close to being correct. Let me know if it needs to be resized at all. EDIT: Hmm. Something seems to be auto shrinking this so it's not appearing full width. I'll keep fiddling with it. EDIT: Okay, I added it as an attachment, so if you click on this you can see it full size. Attachment Deleted

I've no doubt you've already spent tons of time on it, but what are the chances of doubling its height to create a second row of comics? I really liked the tiled look you created for the Top 100 and would love to see some of that flavor here. Also, if possible have the first comic on the left be something a bit more typically "classic" since people tend to read from left to right. Maybe move the Avengers cover there? Finally, the board generates the forum name over the image already, so you don't need to write "classic comics" unless you feel strongly about the font. Hope this isn't too much to be throwing at you. I'm REALLY looking forward to the finished product

It will take some time, but I can add a top row if you want. I don't think I would want to change the order of the images, though - they're in the order of our countdown! The current header I made shows our final list counting down from #14-1.
I could reverse them, though, so they start at #1 in the top left corner - with the Thanos Saga, which can be represented by a more recognizably classic cover like the Death of Captain Marvel GN or Avengers Annual #7 - and count up to #28 in the bottom right. That would keep them in order but have us start with a more classic cover like you want.
The text isn't a big deal. I have it like this just so there is one letter on each cover, like I did with the numbers on my images for the countdown. But I can just leave the text off and we can use the text provided by the site.
