Simultaneously dramatic (Because Neal Adams) and goofy (What's with the Batman onesies that Ra's is holding?) Why are you commenting on my childhood wearing your adult glasses ? Thoughts like this hadn't occurred to me before. You know I can't un-ring that bell... Here are a couple more bells tolling for your pre-pubertal years: 1) So the utility belt and gloves are attached to the costume? 2) If Ra's is holding Batman's costume, attached accessories and all, why is Batman wearing a second costume from the waist down? Wouldn't you like to have been in on the editorial meetings about this cover? You just know that somebody made the decisioon ot color batman's waist and legs to make it look as if he were wearing a second layer of clothes. Granted, a near-nude Batman would have looked odd, but now he looks as if somebody forgot to ask him his safe word.

The King of NASCAR racing, Richard Petty. Don't think I've ever actually heard of Nascar.

The King of NASCAR racing, Richard Petty. Don't think I've ever actually heard of Nascar. Consider yourself lucky. It's possibly the most boring "sport" to watch out there. It involves high-powered cars with expert drivers, driving around a big oval shaped track for hours on end. Lap after lap after lap for several hundred miles. Jeff Dunham (comedian/ventriloquist) makes fun of it in one of his routines. "Look, another left turn! What could possibly happen next? Oooh, another left turn."

I still have this book with the famous Superman Red , Superman Blue story. I picked it up within the last few years as part of my quest to collect all of the 100 Page Super-Spectaculars with the DC-xx numbering. Just a few to go.
