Sheldon Moldoff is one of my favorite artists too and that's why I like the earlier version(s) of Batman so well. That's why I prefer artwork done in the 40's and the 50's than the artwork done in the 00's and the 10's. I'm a sucker for Golden Age and early Silver Age Artwork.

Well, right in front, to the right of the base, are what appear to be Paul Newman and Mel Brooks. Anybody else got some?

Sylvester Stallone above Julie Andrews; Sigourney Weaver above Gary Coleman?; Al Pacino on the other side of Coleman? Harry North was no Mort Drucker when it came to recognizable likenesses. Also, Julie Andrews and Paul Newman seem more 1968 than 1982--why have them in font? |

Also, Julie Andrews and Paul Newman seem more 1968 than 1982--why have them in font? I think maybe that's supposed to be John Travolta, bottom right corner. And maybe Burt Lancaster right behind him. Those would be my guesses anyway. And...yeah...definitely no Mort Drucker. |
