So I was poking around Youtube (as I often do) and I stumbled across some videos regarding Roller Coaster Tycoon. I've tried playing it before, but never got far, but something about the videos just sparked an interest and having a whole week off with not much to do, I said "why not?". Thankfully both 1&2 are currently on sale on GOG for cheap, so I scooped them up, downloaded OpenRCT2 and brought the files over. It'll definitely be a nice time waster this week

I have dozens and dozens of track designs for RCT-1, which is still my favorite of the series.
When my son was little, he loved to design tracks with the most extreme ratings... resulting in a park-customer puke fest... which 9-yr old boys apparently find hilarious.

That's very funny. There was a youtube video I was watching earlier where somebody literally had a bunch of park goers puking every minute from the intensity of the coasters and had to hire TONS of cleaning crew folks to manage it I'd love to play some of your old tracks if you still have the files laying around

PM me your email address and I'll see what I can do. The files are pretty small, so it shouldn't be difficult to zip some together and email them to you.

My love for the gameboy knows no bounds. While it isn't a perfect system (what is?), I love it for it's simple, yet addicting gameplay

My love for the gameboy knows no bounds. While it isn't a perfect system (what is?), I love it for it's simple, yet addicting gameplay I didn’t own one, but used a family member’s. One game I did enjoy was James Pond 2: Codename RoboCod. That was addictive - and bloody impossible at times! As for the perfect system, well, perfection did exist, my friend. It was called the Sega Master System II.

Found a copy of NBA Street for PS2 yesterday that I eagerly brought home. Man, is this game fun! (Think I might have played it for 2 hours straight)
I'd been having a hankering for some NBA Jam and while not made by Midway, Street is more than a worthy successor

Good Old Games was having a "back to school" sale with thousands of titles for under 10 bux. I stumbled across this game called "Tower 57" that looked rather unique. It's a Amiga inspired stick shooter with steampunk flair that's rather reminiscent of Chaos Engine by the Bitmap Brothers and GEEZE is it fun! Probably spent thirty minutes to an hour playing it with my Xbox controller

I am currently frustrated with the world of Wrestling video games. I love wrestling and I love wrestling video games. Have been playing WWE 2K24 since launch and I am so bored with it and rarely touch it. This has been the case for many years now thanks to 2K's copy and past BS and buggy updates. I play the vanilla game for a while then start adding in myself and my wife as CAWs and then download other wrestlers that people have created via CCs. After a while I am so bored with the game and continuously disappointed with Universe mode that before you know it I have removed all vanilla shows, made my own or downloaded others as well as made my rosters full of completely original only CAWs. Not long after that I'm bored again and may fire up the game once a week doing one or two matches. I hope 2K25 will be better, but I'm not preordering jack crap this time around. I've preordered every year for a few years now and it just isn't worth it. Who knows I may not even buy 2K25 next year (I've said this before about the past few WWE 2K games) . I had high hopes for AEW Fight Forever but that got boring within 30 minutes and was just a horrible mismanaged misleading mess. Other games I have long since been frustrated with and have played since launch, left and come back to over the years are Star Wars The Old Republic, Star Trek Online, DC Universe Online and GTA Online. I'm not even gonna go into them but just know I am so with these games. Yet I have invested so much into my characters that I come back every few months or once to twice a year, only to be disappointed after I've completed or briefly played the latest update.

Came into roughly about 100 bux and decided to treat myself to a new MP3 Player and a game, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. I absolutely cannot get over how absolutely fun this game is, like many have said, it feels like a very natural continuation of the old Konami TMNT games. It's also immensely colorful and full of humor. As someone who grew up in the waning years of Turtle mania, but still carried the torch for years, this is not just an excellent old school beat-em-up, but a genuinely great game

The N64 classic and old favorite of mine "Banjo-Tooie" (sequel to the first game) just came to the Switch Online this week, total blast playing it. I like both this and the original a lot, but Tooie for some reason I have just a little preference for. Of all the N64 games they've released for Switch Online, this was on the short list of old favorites I was really hoping for (still wishing for Shadows of the Empire and DK64).

Congrats on the MP3 player as well, I still use mine all the time!
