The new Spider Man game looks ridiculously awesome. Wow. I'm not a huge Spider Man fan, but this looks like a lot of fun.

Super Mario Oddessey looks like the best thing since sliced bread. I agree. Too bad I have a Wii U, which is clearly a failed system at this point.

Combat has always been one of the weakest part of the Spider-Man games. Even Spider-Man 2 only got the swinging right while everything else sucked. So nice to see it looking good at all.

I agree. Too bad I have a Wii U, which is clearly a failed system at this point. While yes, it is now officially discontinued, and it was not as successful as folks had hoped, it's a little unfair to call it failed. There are some great games on there that are worth playing since you already have one.

It'd be cool if they intertwined a stealth aspect to this game even if it is not Spidey Noir himself.

Based on the gameplay footage, it looks like there will be stealth that's pretty similar to the Arkham games. I wonder how much of a problem being caught will be. It makes sense that Batman would have to escape from enemies with guns, but Spider-Man can usually dodge bullets pretty easily.

I've only ever played Asylum and I haven't played the whole game through, but if it is something like that it could be very easily changed from grapping hook on gargoyles to webs. Noir, is human with no super powers, if I remember right. But in the game it didn't take much to get hurt if you did get caught, but it was usually a lot more open than Asylum so escaping was a lot easier. I'm thinking of a Spidey game that had silent takedown from the ceiling too, kind of like Batman. But I can't remember which one? Maybe the Amazing Spiderman games?

Maybe they'll explain it with something like if it's one enemy, Spidey can dodge pretty easily with his Spidey sense, but if it's a group it's harder to dodge just by nature of only being able to move so fast even with advanced warning. Or maybe it will play like a quick time event where you tap a button to dodge.

That Gerudo divine beast!!! Never again!!! Lol Ugh I though some of them "current" shrines were tedious. But that was just...ugh. But the boss was the most challenging to me. Both with getting into the divine beast and the boss itself. I would say the Zora boss was the second most difficult. I actually feel like I did them in difficulty order; Rito, Goron, Zora, Gerudo.
Now that those are all done, I feel a bit aimless now. I certainly still haven't plenty to do, and am still entertained with it. I just don't know what/where to go just yet. I may take a BotW break and play at something else while I aimlessly do some tasks on BotW. I'm not quite sure I want to and/or am ready to face Gannon. Just in case it's not back to free roam after you defeat him.

This is pretty much where I am at now to. I think I could face Gannon but I also know that once I do I dont think I will bother going back to it again. The exploring part is fun, but without an end goal in mind I just wont bother with it.

Just in case it's not back to free roam after you defeat him. I didn't find Gerudo particularly difficult, but I did take a crap load of items in with me. And yeah, I was where you are. Still lots of side quests and shrines, but the formula was getting a little stale, so figured I'd give Ganon a try... and beat him. I did have to look one thing up because I couldn't figure it out (Well didn't want to take the time). Getting to Ganon is a lot harder than the fight, but you can largely avoid conflict if you get creative in your approach in the castle. This is pretty much where I am at now to. I think I could face Gannon but I also know that once I do I dont think I will bother going back to it again. The exploring part is fun, but without an end goal in mind I just wont bother with it. I'm the same way. Once I'm done, I'm done. It's hard to be motivated once the main quest is done. Also, for you and Adam, very mild spoilers if you want to know. After you beat Ganon {Spoiler} the game does NOT continue after you beat Ganon. Your save file is updated, and you can load back in, but it starts you right before you walk into Ganon's lair. I was hoping to knock out one or more tasks and seeing the world changed somewhat after he was done, but no dice/

Thanks for the spoiler impulse. Now I know I want to wait before Gannon.

Eh yeah so I kind of accidentely beat Gannon. It wasnt even on purpose. I was just going around in the castle beating guardians to get materials to make armour/weapons and I went in to the room that triggered the battle. So I thought "Well I am here now so why not" and I beat him. So yeah I geuss I am done with this for a while atleast. This does mean I might start to play some of the other games I have on my Xbox instead. Maybe finally play through the rest of the story in titans fall 2 or something like that.
